This is just off one poster’s (nicely detailed) results. Hopefully there’s more info to come from other sources.

Main event sounds like it turned into an elimination match, though I’m not totally sure. Cibernetico took out Zorro, the Sect ran down and helped Mesias beat Cibernetico. So the playoff turns out to be the same finish they’ve been doing all year. (Not sure if they did they revealed the Mesias/Konnan breakup was a fake, but that’d fit.) I don’t understand this decision at all, but they must feel there’s more mileage in this 18 month feud.

Order of escape from the cage match was Zumbido, Calo, Intocable and Decnnis. Alan beat Scorpio to take his hair.

Electro got his team DQed in the tag title match, fouling Octagon I believe. They did a big injury angle with La Parka Jr., and he should be out for a while.

Ladder match was a total US style spot fest. Charly Manson and Chessman were actually holding the ladder when Joe Lider climbed up to grab the belts at the end.

Before the mixed tag match, AAA announced Cinthia Moreno was unable to participate due to a spine injury. She and Oriental will get a shot at the titles win she’s healthy, and they were replaced by Espiritu and Diabolica. Apaches are new champions, so we’ve got lots more family feuding to come.

Air Force does want a shot at the Atomicos titles, but it wasn’t clear if it was accepted.

Announced Future Tapings
– none; it’s unclear if this means they’re done for ’07 or if they’ve just not got around to mentioning it.

  1. The only match I’m kinda shocked about is the cage. I thought it would be Decnnis or Guapito. I guess Scropio losing makes sense.

I’m guessing they will continue with Zorro/Cibernetico battling for the number 1 contenders shot for Mesias when he comes back. I’m thinking by next year at this time, Mesias/Konnan will be the main event.

  2. I’m surprised Scorpio lost as well, I thought they chould have build him up to lose his hair to Ciber in a future event. Seems they’re serious in pushing Alan Stone. With La Parka out of the picture, top 5 tecnicos happen to be Strippers.

  3. I want to see every match on Guerra de Titanes. The cage match will be fun for me. The main event too. Anytime you have Chessman in a match especially a ladder/cage/etc you are sure to get something crazy involved. I can’t imagine what he tried. I would’ve loved to see Guapito shaved but then he’d lose his ladies. Then I’ll feel bad. Definately looking forward to this.

Is there anyway/anywhere to watch this before it airs in the US? I know there used to be a link to watch AAA/CMLL on the internet. I’d love to watch some CMLL since I haven’t seen anything aside from Accion clips which I’m reaching calling that clips. I’d appreciate any help.

  4. Is that the Nick from a few months back that disapeared?

They always seem to run their year-end taping in Chilpancingo and usually it’s a fun show since the guys know they are off for at least a month afterwards and can rest up. Looking forward to a Fuerza Aerea vs Secta title match since Pegasso is healthy.

  5. Nick from Indiana was the old one…

They don’t really rest, that’s the time they have more work.

I wonder if Leon and Xalapa tapings will, if so, then Chilpancingo would be airing on Jan 7, and maybe they’ll start taping before Jan 14 which would mean no year end shows.

  6. They just said that Guerra de Titanes will be airing on Dec 23rd.

I wonder if the end of year special might be the Triple Sem and a VIP show with segments of the past months.

  7. Cibernetico was rushed to the hospital after the Guerra de Titanes show in Ciudad Madero on Friday after being put through a flaming table by El Mesias. 30% of Ciber’s back was burnt and that he will be in the hospital till at least Wednesday. The doctors are telling him that he needs to be out of action for 4-6 weeks to fully heal.

  8. Rob, this is the same Nick that used to post here and luchaboard. I have been really busy and hadn’t seen much lately. I only started watching again last weekend. And I am from Indiana.

And sorry to hear about Ciber. He is a very entertaining part of AAA. While not a great wrestler he gets the crowd into it and from what I can understand, he’s a good talker.

  9. Nick! Good to see you back. There are so few members of the lucha community these days that it sucks to see one come and go so fast.

BTW Cubs, error trying to reply to new post.:(
