Figuring out the AAA tournament title changes

This is only for people who care about pointless championships changing hands in virtual paper transactions. (It was better than my idea of putting up a countdown clock until Amapola wins the Women’s title on Friday.)

1 – Cibernetico removed from tournament for losing non-tournament match to El Mesias for GWPC Monster Title

Working with the tournament rule – all titles on the line in all eligible matches, I come up with these title matches

AAA World (Mega) Heavyweight Championship
1: Mesias, 2007.09.16
(current)

IWC World Heavyweight Championship
11-1: Cibernetico retains over Mr. Niebla on 2007.08.16
12: Mesias defeats Cibernetico on 2007.08.16
12-1: Mesias retains over Chessman & Charly Manson on 2007.09.13
12-2: Mesias retains over Chessman on 2007.09.16
(championship defunct)

UWA World Light Heavyweight Championship
39: Chessman beats Zorro on 2007.08.19
40: Mesias beats Chessman on 2007.09.16
(championship defunct – though it would’ve been an amusing touch if Mesias just handed it back to Zorro after the turn)

GPCW SUPER-X Monster Championship
3: Mesias beats La Parka Jr. on 2007.08.19
3-1: Mesias retains over Chessman & Charly Manson on 2007.09.13
3-2: Mesias retains over Chessman on 2007.09.16

Mexican National Heavyweight Championship
62: Charly Manson
vacant as of 2007.09.13 (as a result of losing the triangle match)
(championship vacant/on the shelf – but surely will be brought back by someone at some point, even Charly)

Objections before I try to add this into the wiki?

  1. I don’t object, I just feel bad for you when after all this hard work in a few months guys start to magically show up with the belts they supposedly lost in this tournament. It’s bound to happen.

  2. Didn’t Mesias win the Mexican National Heavyweight Championship when he won the triangle match? If AAA is like the WWE then whoever wins the triangle match becomes champion.

Then again I don’t always understand AAA rules so I could be wrong.
