11/16-18 Lucha Times

chart

FSE (US): Usual time, including the midnight replay. Should be a halfway decent opening and Shiro’s only appearance on the satellite show.

FSE also repeats last week’s episode tomorrow (Thursday). Next Wednesday, they’re running a lot of the History Of Mexican Sports specials, including a couple lucha libre ones.

AAA (US): Part 2 of the Pena Memorial show, which will include the lights out match, should include the gauntlet match, and may include the minis match. Three matches over three hours may be asking too much.

CAN52 (US/MEX): Another okay->good middle match, and Perros vs Tecnicos in the opener.

——-

AAA (MEX): Mesias wasn’t healthy enough to be in the title match, but he was able healthy to be in a tag match two weeks prior (which means he’s probably not doing much.) Guapos vs Stones, Night Queens vs Cassandro/Pimpi/friends and Minis should all make air.

CMLL (MEX): Women’s Title match for sure, probably as part of the top 3.

FSE: More Leono/Mr. Mexico, and Triad vs Mascara/Sagrado/Dragon

  1. Oh, I see how it is. Saying mini’s have a slim chance to air on the DVDVR board but not a mention of it in your “official” predictions.;)

This would be a good week for CMLL to get 2 full hours and air the tercera under the women so that segunda can make weekend TV without us missing another Valiente, Volador, Sagrado match.

  2. If a weatherman thinks there’s an 80% chance of rain, he doesn’t mark the day “SUNNY”. Even if he was planning to golf that day.

  3. Well it looks like they’ve got the extra 15 minutes for the main show.

With 3 matches, the 1:45hr shows are really padded out, so surely to god they’ll need to throw another one in on Saturday. It’s not like we have Cincos Magnificos or any of that crap anymore, and fan of the week, upcoming cards etc can only take up a certain amount of time…..

Then again, this IS CMLL/Televisa and we all know they have a nasty habit of unpleasantly surprising us with their ineptitude and stupidity, so who knows…..

If that’s not a mistake in the listings i do think we will get the 4 matches – but knowing how strong the Arena mex under/mid card is this week, i fear one of the aired matches will be from Sunday, probably those damn women.
