In between the second and third match, Prez Roldan called out Mesias to the ring to set up a AAA Title match. Roldan suggested Alebrije, Octagon, La Parka Jr. and Intocable, but it sounds like Mesias buried them all. It didn’t really matter, the swerve was Cibernetico is #1 contender and getting the shot. I’m not sure why we needed a skit for that, but okay.

Main event was 3 v 4 because Niebla hadn’t been used, I guess. (Antifaz was the Abismo replacement earlier.) Cibernetico still won clean with a chokeslam on Kenzo. Previously, Mesias won his match with a belt shot, so they ended with the big title match tease.

We still have many weeks before Guerra de Titanes, but it would not be a surprise for AAA to autopilot the main event scene towards that title match. Hopefully they start clearing things up underneath.

The other story of the show was Alan and Intocable interfering in each other’s matches to help each other win. I guess they’re teaming up? This was hinted at back when the Guapos first split up, when Intocable made the save for Alan and checked on him (rife with subtext.)

The Mexican Powers/Familia de Tijuana match didn’t reallly happen. Instead of Nicho being there for a match, Konnan came out and lead his assembled forces (Legion, Vipers, Familia) into destroying the Mexican powers.

The Apaches/Moreno match was said to be a good technical match. Gran Apache made an appearance with his daughters. He was walking here with the use of a cane, so at least things are improving. Gran Apache tried to interfere at the end of the match, but accidentally tripped up Mary. That lead to the loss, Mary arguing with Gran Apache after the match, and everyone turning on Mary after the match. How random. She was stretchered out and Cinthia needed medical help as well. Not sure what happened with her, but Cinthia has had her shoulder in a modified sling for quite some time.
