Ultimo yanked Villano V’s mask to win the semifinal, Atlantis yanked Blue Panther’s mask to win the final. I see the Guerreros had a strategy for this tournament. Atlantis/Blue Panther seems to be the new direction spinning out of the cage match – CMLL.com pushes it as well, and Alex’s recap says Panther accepted the mask match (though I don’t believe that’ll stick yet.) You’ve got to something to build off the Panther’s mask win; it almost seems a waste if he’s not in another big match within six months, and Atlantis versus Panther would be a big match. (It’s funny how this was already discussed on DVDVR before it happened.)

The report I got said Hijo de Rey Misterio was going out of his way to sign autographs (they were charging for them, but he was doing them for free as well) and stayed for more than an hour after the show to take care each other. Attendance was in the 400-500 range.

Lizmark Jr. is allied with the Guerreros but doesn’t seem to be a full fledged member.
There was never an official explanation for Tarzan’s name change, but assumption is CMLL started copyrighting everyone’s names and couldn’t do it with Tarzan Boy.
AAA haters say that AAA called Disney and complained about him using the “Tarzan” moniker… of course, Disney is not the name owner so I doubt that’s true, but Alexis Salazar did said that someone holding the rights complained.

They would have complained for him not using their song, not for the name use… with many of the songs also being dropped, I assume that Televisa is asking for the rights to be be in order for all the stuff they put on.

There was no DVD of the nniversary bing sold in the streets, I asked and everyone was like “why would someone want to buy something they give away for free on TV?” So, unless they get them from Mexico City or GDL, I doubt it ‘ll be sold here.
It’s not even for sure it’ll end up on free TV. I hope someone gives in and uploads it already as the pictures make it looks awesome for high flying on those undercard matches.

What most people mean with that is that “there’s a new free show comming up next weekend”. Is like missing a football or baseball game, you probably just watch the next one and don’t really care that much.
