2) Blue Demon Jr., Capitan Furia, Mexicano vs Bugambilia, El Parachico, Mascara Purpura
3) Ultimo Guerrero vs Guerrero Zulu [mask]

So many sarcastic comments, so little time. Ultimo Guerrero COULD lose his mask to someone I’ve never heard of! (What will happen if he loses his mask the day before!?!) Would this replace Mr. Aguila as biggest mask win ever for UG?

The BBC has an article about kids training in the CMLL gym. Ringo is the trained for this class. They talk to some of the students, the oldest of which is El Legionario. Some of the others appear to be sons or grand sons of other wrestlers.

Rodolfo Vega who published lucha libre magazines in the 60s, 70s, 80s and was a close friend of Huracan Ramirez, is interviewed is La Razon.

Nuevo Excelsior writes about the beginnings of CMLL, Arena Coliseo and Arena Mexico.

More indy lucha libre in Colorado. It sounds like a different group.

Magazines:
Box Y Lucha #2836 has Santo talking about his break up with CMLL
Super Luchas #230 has Canek talking about returning. That’s an unrecognizable mask.

  1. “”They learn all of the moves so they can be someone in the future, they could be like me,” he (Ringo) says.”

If he Internet Lucha Libre Community could talk, it would be:
    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  2. Great article on Lutteroth. I swear I’m now going to play number 4242 as a daily number from now on.
