This taping felt much more relevant, even if it’s still many months dated. At least in the Elegidio/Abismo feud, it hasn’t moved along a beat because Abismo’s been gone so much.
Not that I care, since we never see him again and he mostly only exists to me as text results over on lomejordelucha, but why did Corazon de Barrio change his name to Aventurero anyway? He was guy, and now he’s still a guy.
The poor job of blurring Sexi Star’s face in the skit – you could totally see it at the end – is so AAA. I can’t remember if we weren’t supposed to know whom Billy Boy was talking to there, but it probably would’ve been a lot easier just to have her wear her Sexi Star mask (especially since Alfa is wandering around in the world wearing his mask nowadays.)
I thought the street fight might be better than it is, but crowd brawling works much better in smaller places and live than it does on TV, I think. They probably didn’t need to do this with the hair match next week, but it did push Fabi’s idea that Billy and Apache were going to destroy each other.
I wish more matches were as long as the Fuerza/Pirata vs Octagon/Fuerza one.
