Update: Corrected the 5th match result. So the semifinals are Mesias and all three Hell Brothers. Way to mix it up, AAA.

I’m not totally sure about those results – most definitely the 5th match. Pictures are slowly going up on the site, but the results blurb is already on the sidebar.

The idea seems to be Mesias will win all the extraneous heavyweight championships (instead of ditching them), which will leave Mesias looking very Mistico-like. La Parka Jr. came back off an injury break to drop the title belt of Juvi’s psuedo-promotion. No mention of Zorro/Chessman even happening, but I’m assuming he won so he can also drop his belt (and Charly won for the same reason, though it’s against the rules.)

On the other hand, the title match is not mentioned as being part of the tournament, so who knows.

Mesias helped out in the main event, of course. Far more interesting is the recap mentioning Charly Manson doing a swandive headbutt in tribute to Chris Benoit.

Guapos split continues, with Zumbido siding with Scorpio and those two leaving Calo and Alan bloody. Intocable came back to make the save, which is interesting and distressing at the same time.

  1. Next AAA TV via Box y Lucha, just in time to air while they are in Japan but not enough to cover the next week’s show so I assume Triple SEM makes TV…

  2. BTW, took me a minute to realize that show has nobody who is going to Japan so everyone must be gone by then.

  3. I hope someone came to their senses and realized Cibernetico is not exactly made for wrestling in Japan… especially against junior heavyweights who like to… have good matches…

  4. Looks like Rey Cometa hurt himself in the photos from this show. Make him a rudo damnit! This is Path Finder all over again!!! Also looks like someone busted Angel Mortal’s mouth but he’s tough, he can take it.

  5. Hmm, they can’t replace Cibernetico with Elegido, because he’s going too. Maybe Intocable?

  6. I’m sticking with Hator.

Surely Roldan isn’t dumb enough to sign Bestia Salvaje, right? I’d rather have Violencia if we are forced to get a washed up CMLL wrestler.

  7. You see Super Fly on the card? Isn’t it a little early to be drinking and thinking Extreme Tiger is Super Fly?:P

  8. I mistaken the Moroleon show with the Salamanca’s results… and no, it’s not early enough to start drinking, at least for these summer days…

  9. The NotiAAA Blog will take more time to be completed now than the previous show… or that seems. Reading from the sidebar, pretty surprised Chessman beat Zorro and Intocable ran in to make the sabe for Alan, as I had thought it would make sense for them to join a group, still, I think even Zuñiga suggested that waaaaaay back to Rey de Reyes 2006!!
