Main event was an elimination match. Mesias, replacing X-Pac, defeated Chessman and Mesias to win.

Mr. Niebla replaced Abismo Negro, and the DQ was caused by the debuting Escorpion Negro running in. He’s a northern Mexico indy guy, and they’ve got him listed as a new Viper. I guess they’re going to keep adding Vipers till they have 4 around at any time.

Superluchas has finishes and times. Of note in the other matches, Laredo Kid pinned Apache.

  1. RFC also notes there was a ?dark? opener with more Nuevo Laredo guys and some farmiliar names…

    Rey Infernal/Black Mamba/Mr. Condor vs Los Costenos (Uba/Super Loco/Carinoso).

Doubt that makes TV although Los Costenos are so awful it’d at least make Canibal look like Chessman.

  2. RFC went all the way down to Queretaro?

I like elimination matches, but they should do them in the undercard and let the main event go off as short and painless as possible…

  3. I think Roberto just new in advance they’d be debuting and posted it after the show took place.

  4. I saw Black Mamba a couple of times on LLaves… where are Los Costeños from? Madero? Acapulco?

  5. You don’t remember Los Costenos? They had a short AAA TV run in 2002 and were AWFUL. They wrestle a lot in Acapulco.

  6. I remember the group, but not the names… I was hoping that they had brought up some guys from Tamaulipas who know how to work with the Laredo guys (Nuevo Laredo is also in Tamaulipas). Anyway, they won’t be on TV, I guess…
