Wagner won the first, and was well in control in the second fall, but pulled Mistico up one too many times. Mistico rolled him up for the win. Mistico’s mask was ripped and he was bleeding. He even got a new mask in the third fall, but you could still see the bleeding and it got ripped before long as well.

With Wagner laying on the ramp, Mistico tried an Asai Moonsault, but Wagner got his feet up. Wagner gave Mistico a brutal powerbomb on the ramp, and celebrated as doctors and officials checked if Mistico could still go. While he was celebrating, and the referees were helping check on Mistico, Ultimo Guerrero snuck in the ring, and ended up giving Wagner the Guerrero Special. Mistico got back up, springboarded onto Wagner, and got the win, though the match clearly laid out Wagner as the better wrestler.

Fans were very displeased over Mistico getting another unearned win, and showered the ring with drink cups and boos. Ultimo was taken off by security. Security tried to take Wagner but he bumped one of them. The fans were behind Wagner going into the match, and more so coming out of it.

Tecnicos won the semimain in two falls. Perros ripped off Blue Panther’s mask in the second fall, as that feud goes on.

Sombra was strechered out of his match, again, but the finish of the match was an off the middle rope Devil’s Wings, so perhaps that was a planned injury.

  1. Not to mention someone sent the younger Salazar (I think) into the ring to tell Mistico to get the hell out of dodge as fast as possible and he took off immediatly.

  2. WOW, what a show…

it’s only the third one i sew live till now, but it was really great.

Opner was great, leono was good and satnico was god as alawys.

Second match was good, match of the night for me, the double underhook face buster from the top rope was great.

Third match was average, nothing special and nothing bad.

The semi main was bad, nothing intersting there.

    ME…
great match, the end was really shock for me (didn’t read spoilers)
ultimo-wagner should be great feud, mistico-perro continue shuld be great 2.

  3. I cannot say anything about the finish but woah. Did not see that one coming. So are we going for Wagner/GDA untill September? I don’t have a problem with that.

  4. Meltzer has a headline, God of Wrestling passes away, I thought OMG! Cibernetico’s dead! Nope, wrong God.

  5. Oh, it was Karl Gotch… I’m not sure if he helped wrestling at all or damaged with his MMA influence, but it’s sad news.

NotiAAA Blog has not updated yet…

  6. Great opening match. Just as I predicted, Octagoncito stepped up his game big time now that he’s the new #1 with Mascarita out of the picture. It’ll be a little fresher since Mascarita was toned down after his injury and he and Mini Abismo were doing the same stuff for years.

The spot where Alfa/Fabi accidentally kissed was GENIUS!

    Perfect opener.

  7. I thought there would be more dives here, but they actually worked it in a nice way, how come there was no Alfa tope? I think there was one cut…

  8. Good thing they’re airing the Relevos Suicidas in full, it was supposed to air last week, so I assume they re-produced the show, or at least parts of it.

  9. There were many cuts. Whoever is doing the editing is trying to do the best job they can but you can see tons of edits if you know what to look for. But I don’t think there was an Alfa tope suicida since it didn’t show up in the pictures either.

I never remember the Relevos Suicidas being set to air last week. They said the street fight would air and it didn’t. That might be the one match we don’t see. What a shame.;)

Part 1 of the Relevos Suicidas was ruined by editing. Too many cuts which ruined the flow of the match. Also the Apache/Calo being friends, then hating each other right away didn’t make much sense. I mean… it makes sense in the theory of the match but the way they did it was done poorly.

Laredo Kid’s dive was *NUTS8!!! I need to re-watch to make sure but did he just become the first guy to do a 4 rotation corkscrew dive??? Not to mention CALO DIDN’T CATCH HIM!!! I guess they were saving up Super Fly’s flying for the singles match later on which makes sense.

How come there is no 8/3 Queretaro lineup yet. I want to see where things are headed…

  10. The closing segment for last week’s AAA showed the dives from the Relevos match, so it belonged to that show.

The thing that affected the relevos, imo, is that the crowd was confused about the teams, AAA helped to the confusion by having Fabi and Star there.

  11. The dive was ‘only’ a triple corkscrew. But to the best of my memory, that’s strictly the first time it been done right because every other time, has actually only been 2 & a half.

It was an amazing spot, but i thought Laredo kid would really be going balls out in that first match if he knew he was leaving early.

And i’m pretty sure that match was planned for last week i think because although they didn’t advertise it at the beginning, they showed spots of it in the highlights package at the end of the show which summarises the matches which aired.

  12. I’m probably in the minority but that match ended pretty well and was decent.

  13. That clip when he’s in the blue outfit which gets replayed a few times is out-of-this-world! I must have saw him hit that about 15 times on AAA TV and he never quite makes the full triple. He usually ends up hitting the catcher back-first.

I love that dive. Volador and Mistico need to start using it again, even if their’s are just single corkscrews :)

  14. Mexico1 – I’m with you, the ending was decent enough. I just wished they would have gotten to it faster.:)

  15. To their credit, the street match was too hot with the crowd, which probably tells something, AAA uses a bunch of guys who are not into anything right now and get pretty much the same response as an historic Wagner turning moment.

  16. I liked the mask match. It seemed like an actual “hey I want to save my mask” match rather than a “let’s do a regular flying match and forget that this is the biggest match of our careers” match.

The finish was pretty cool and dramatic.

  17. So with 1 hour left and 3 matches, will the Guapos match be cut? You’d think they have to show the ladder and cage match for sure.

  18. I don’t think they’ll air the ladder match this late in the show. I guess it’ll be the Guapos and then the cage dome in a continuous take with no commercials.

  19. It’s been an awesome weekend so far. AAA had the better show so far and the main event has not happen yet.

  20. “In the name of the honorable commision of Box y Lucha…”

Time to jump through tables, fire and chairs.:D

  21. Ah… nothing like third-rate indy level wrestling where your opponent holds the ladder so you can balance yourself and then hit him with a move.

  22. That match was a success b/c everyone survived.

I look forward (haha) to Verano De Escandalo w/ Tiger vs Crazzy vs Lider vs Shiryu Dragon in a “let’s do every spot we’ve ever done in front of 20 fans in Guadalajara” match.

  23. Can’t wait for Ricky Banderas TNA debut so the Impact Zone could chant “Holy Sh!t” when he put Abyss through thumbtacks. LOL

  24. I liked the cage match. Crowd was red hot (duh) and they kept the action moving. They didn’t overdo it with a zillion run-ins (since the rest of the night had enough) and had a clean finish with one guy going over another. Great way to end the show.

The Chessman bump was pretty scary since he could have easily overshot those tables with the momentum he had going. It was pretty dramatic with the crowd screaming just as he was starting to lose his balance.

Wonder if the Guapos match airs next week as a ‘bonus’. Also wonder if they skip the day after taping and go straight to Madero.

The guy with the Madero photos says he’ll have the Queretaro lineup tomorrow although I suspect Box y Lucha will be putting it up first tonight.

  25. I know it is dumb to be that picky, but the fact that they were escaping not from the “legal” circle took away from the… stipulation. They should have made it a pinfall match the final Ciber vs Kenzo deal.

Way better than what the trios matches between these guys usually are. The circle on the top of the cage helped to build the expectation for the escapes, as sometimes, in a regular cage, people are watching someone and guys escape from other places.
