Lucha Times

FSE: Lots of stuff going on here.

The Saturday show is at midnight eastern, but it should continue picking up the episodes that weren’t aired in the US. This means a trios rematch to set up next week’s Dos/Universo title match. FSE has scheduled a same week repeat (!) on Monday at 5 PM Eastern.

On Monday at 8 (and replayed again on Friday at the same time), a documentary called “La Pasion de la lucha libre” is scheduled to air. I would presume this is a reair from Mexico, but I’m not sure which one this is. It’s not the 12 matches which aired before.

On Friday, starting at 11:30p EST, there are two repeats of lucha scheduled. I’m not sure how true the descriptions are, so this’ll get updated next week, but it looks like a couple of mid May shows replayed (including the Takayama/Suzuki match which Killed Puroresu In Mexico!!!!)

CAN52: I went back and forth on whether the Rey/Atlantis match will make it on this show or the FSE one. It became easier when I recalled FSE is the only show that’s mentioned Rey’s Anniversary Show. So, instead, women’s match and Villanos vs Wagner. Clips of the Mini Damian/Bam Bam match should turn up here.

AAAUS: Monterrey taping! I was not as high on the main event angle as other people, but you should watch for yourself. Is someone YouTubing all the Alfa vignettes?

CMLLMEX: The Coliseo segunda is another women’s trio, so if they’re airing those again on this show, does that mean we’re headed to Amapola/Marcela as the 4th match on a 6 match card next month? (Maybe as soon as next week?) It can’t be happening at Coliseo, because it’d be higher up and be on some other show. Televisa’s TV Grid is very strange and hard to read, but I think this is a 2:45 long show.

AAAMEX: Back to three hours. More of TripleMania XV. It’d be technically hard to air less of TripleMania XV. What did I win for guessing correctly TripleMania would be two shows?

  1. Dan Lowth (from the Chikara fans board) posted the Alfa skit from last week (where he trains with Apache) on youtube.

I don’t know if the one from the week before (with Alfa’s date with Fabi) is on there or now.

  2. I was wondering about the AAA show on galavision. on the schedule, it’s actually not showing a saturday afternoon showing, but there the sunday morning replays. will this show still be a new show, or a replay?

  3. You know, it does list a Saturday airing on their website, but looking at my TiVo listings – yea, they’ve got 7 hours of Mision Reportar on instead. I don’t know what the deal is.

    I think they’ll air a new episode, but there’s maybe a 40% chance they don’t.

  4. I still have my fingers crossed that something happens between Azteca America and CMLL. The Tuesday footage from Coli airing on DeporTV and Azteca America’s website is encouraging, and shows progress is being made.

Azteca America was looking for some Lucha and UFC footage to show between soccer seasons. That deal fell apart when Azteca saw how low-grade the Monterrey Azteca promotion was, and would not air it. Maybe both sides will come to terms for the fall season. CMLL has to do something for the US market. The retards at Fox keep bouncing the timeslot around.
