07/20-22 Lucha Times

This is a day late due to rain. Full chart is under that link listed as lucha times, as always.

FSE: Hey, it’s back in the US. Preview lists Volador/Satanico, which last happened on 07/10, a Tuesday I dunno what that means. The Universo/Dos program is over, so we’re back to guessing.

CAN52: This a bit more predictable; surely the minis Cibernetico, and a really awful semimain.

AAA: Show before the show before the show before TripleMania. AAA tecnicos vs Legion, Octagon returns to battle inconclusively with Fuerza (it’s what they do), and one more Fuerza vs Familia de Apache atomico.

CMLLMEX: Top 3? It’s nearly always the top 3, so the tag rematch, Dos gets to show off his belt, and Trio of Terror vs Mascara/Somba/Marco

AAAMEX: As noted in the comments, the network has this listed as a two hour timeslot, which surely won’t fit all of TripleMania. It’s back to three hours next week.

Tomorrow’s news will be way late.

07/19: AAA photos, Puebla, AOL

It looks like the regular photographer for AAA’s site has posted their recent photos on a couple of Blogger site. You can find a lot of photos of TripleMania @ http://triplemaniaxvphotos.blogspot.com/. There’s also links to blogger sites with photos from the pre-TripleMania Puebla taping and the post-TripleMania Leono taping.

Hopefully one of these blogs keep going. It’s disappionting for AAA not to have any information about TripleMania on their site until 4 days after it happened. I imagine it’s annoying for the photographer too, and that could be the reason the blogger sites are up.

CMLL (MON) 07/23 Arena Puebla [hugo999]
1) Centalla de Oro, Lestat, Tigre Rojo vs Aguila Guerrera, Karisma, Mr. Rafaga
2) Coco Blanco, Coco Rojo, Coco Verde vs Fuerza Chicana, Skandalo, Toro Bill Sr.
3) Felino, La Mascara, Mictlan vs Hiromi Horiguchi, Hirooki Goto, Okumura
4) Alex Koslov, Mistico, Rey Bucanero vs Dr. Wagner Jr., Mephisto, Olimpico
5) Ultimo Guerrero vs Blue Panther

I believe this is the first time Wagner been booked as a rudo outside of Arena Mexico. It would seem the turn is going to stick.

indy (THU) 07/19 Arena Olimpico Laguna de Gomez Palacio [elsiglodetorroen]
1) Flashman & Scriba Jr. vs Pequeno Star & Zaracatan
2) Espacial & Venum vs Oso Negro & Semental
3) Brillante Jr. & Tackle vs Moro Jr. & Scriba
4) Avispon Negro, Sexy Piscis, Stuka I vs Difuno II, Difunto I, Sexy Francis

I think Chui pointed this out in the comments. I’m guessing it’s La Sombra and not a new Brillante Jr., with the people in charge keeping him out of the main event to focus on the regulars instead.

El Siglo de Durango has a story about Rayman, Cien Caras Jr., Angel Blanco Jr., Mascara Sagrada and Texano Jr. visiting the cancer ward of a local hospital.

You can find photos of this show here

Legion won the main event, leaving the tecnicos bloody. Cibernetico vowed to shave the rest of the rudos one by one.

Kenzo used a piledriver on La Parka and got away with it. Parka was strechered out, and AAA is hyping it as a long term injury angle with Parka requiring surgery. Every report I’ve read about Parka since his return has mentioned his previously injured shoulder still affecting him, and I’m presuming they just had him work thru TripleMania before taking more time off to get the shoulder better. There’s no return date mentioned.

Fuerza snuck in his foul on Octagon in the tercera to get the win.

Mexican Powers beat the Guapos clean, but Sabu, Konnan and Ron Killings attacked the crew after the match. They’re building to a Sabu (and Killings?) vs Mexican Powers extreme battle.

Mini’s match was originally announced as Mascarita Sagrada 2000 vs Mini Histeria for the Mexican Mini’s Championship. AAA’s recap has Divina replacing Sagrada, and the photolog adds that it was a #1 contenders match for the title. There were rumors of Sagrada leaving the company, and it sure seems like he no-showed this to keep the belt (which Mini Histeria and his new big push would’ve likely taken.)
