07/13-07/15 Lucha Times

(this is post 9 in the last 24 hours. feel free to let me know how you feel about that.)

As always, more detailed listings are on the Lucha Times page.

FSEUS: Copa America takes over the Sunday on FSE, with replays of the semifinal games shown to lead up to the final, and a replay of the final. Lucha is squeezed out here for one more week. Regular time next week.

CAN52: Mini feud continues here.

AAAUS: second half of the two show weekend. Sexi Star lives to fight the Apaches again, Sect kills the Mexican Powers, more of the usual.

——

CMLLMEX: Looks like a 5 PM start. Tag Title match, obviously, and I figure top 3, with the minis Cibernetico ending up on CAN52 next week.

AAA: Puebla taping, last before TripleMania.

FSLA (MEX): The only place Universo will be seen losing his title is on Fox Sports Latin America. Maybe it’ll show up in replay someday.

  1. The multiple posts thing worked great today as I actually had work that involved being in the OFFICE today. Usually that’s torture but with the constant stream of posts, I had something to distract me from actual work.

  2. 10th post should be about Mexico losing to Argentina, so they won’t be playing next Sunday, although the under 20 team might still be playing by then…

  3. Yeah but I said *TORONTO*. AMERICANS!!!

Mexico played one game here and then left for the west I believe. If they make it to the semi’s and the finals, both games will be in Toronto. Maybe I’ll put on my Venum/Aguila combo mask and go down to watch.

Wait… that’ll be Triplemania weekend. Fuck soccer.

  4. That Mexico team won the U-17 tourney, so people is expecting it to get at least to the semis, but who knows.

I thought the AAA guys might be working singles matches with local indies to make it a 3 or 4 match card, but it seems they only work a match by themselves. I wonder if that Super AAA guy is a new guy or the same kid that worked during the Alienigenas matches.

  5. Cubs you forgot to mention that in this weeks AAA USA tv show it is the return of Latin Lover after 5 months.

  6. BTW, CMLL supporters are blaming soccer for some of the low drawing shows, that’s why I mentioned the soccer team losing with Argentina.

  7. Doh, double post. Friggin error messages.

I almost thought Super AAA was
Rey Cometa after looking at the footage.

  8. FWIWI, FSE had indeed the Universo vs Dos Caras Jr match, and an undercard match with Misterioso Jr on it. Besides having Loco Max in your “let’s kill someone’s heat” segment.

  9. Speaking of the Warped tour, according to a Piedras Negras lucha board, Piero said the show promoters want to use the AAA guys to run another 28 dates by November.
