oh my gosh, Abismo Negro in a match.

Opener is probably a dark match.

Update: AAA’s posted it’s recap.
Abismo did indeed reappear. In the semifinal, he blew flame in Chessman’s face and martiente’d Zorro.

After the main event – Ciber pinning Kenzo – Mesias came out with a torn shirt. AAA had done vigenttes teasing a break up thru the show, and Mesias told Konnan he was quititng the Legion and joining the Hell Brothers. Cibernetico wasn’t too sure about this, but was happy there were issues. Konnan called out Abismo to be Mesias’ replacement, and Abismo said HE was quiting the Legion and joining the Hell Brothers. Cibernetico was having fun now (he got over Chessman getting torched pretty quick), but then all the rudo revealed they were all still rudos and beat Cibernetico, Parka and Lover down. Abismo martiente’d Latin, Kenzo and X-Pac busted open Cibernetico, Parka Jr.’s shoulder got worked over, and the rest of the Vipers laid out the Hell Brothers in the locker room. Mesias is still a rudo, Abismo’s still a rudo, we’re still building to a Latin/Abismo match which may never happen, and the tecnicos are being eliminated going into to TripleMania.

The Guerrera v Guerrera match was actually a street fight. They must be doing the bull terrier at TripleMania after all. Fuerza won the street fight with a leg submission.

Laredo was about to finish Gran Apache with a top rope move in the atomicos, but Fabi shoved him off. Gran Apache fouled him and hit his finish.

Fabi was just returning the favor – Gran Apache and Alfa helped her out in the women’s tag match.

The Mummy match isn’t mentioned, so no chance of it making TV.

  1. Now THAT sounds like an AAA taping!! I guess Mummy’s match might be airing in LLaves y Candados. How come Abismo came back in such a pivotal role and is not booked for AAAMania?

  2. I’m predicting Nikozuna as the surprise rudo at Mania.

As far as Llaves y Candados, I’m thinking they’ll tape on Tuesday.

  3. There was a post on El Martinete saying that Rikishi & Black Pearl (wrestler from NWE in Italy) have been booked for Triplemania.

  4. Marco Rivera threw those names into the fray a week or two ago, and it got “confirmed” today in the boards but citing Meltzer. Is Rikishi still wrestling? Maybe Black Pearl will work and Rikishi be his manager. Somehow, I think it is better to have one guy like BP who might be thinking of impressing hoping to see if he can land a job in WWE (I mean, WWE surely has an eye in AAA) than have Steiner.
