GdR: what a weird show – women’s match, random visiting Japanese
FSE: You know how FSE’s listings are a week behind, for whatever reason? I got the idea to check NEXT week’s listings, which oddly enough do have a description, saying Felino vs Pierroth. So that match will air, and yet more New Infernales on the undercard.
AAAMEX: Wait, someone turned at the Grand Traitor show? Gosh!
CMLLMEX: They’ve got to show LdP, they’ve got to show Mistico’s return match (and if he doesn’t return, it’s the apocalypse and I don’t mean Koreano). Probably the Double Tigre match from Coliseo.
The good thing is we should be able to figure all the results from Sunday besides the opener, because it doesn’t seem like we’re getting the results any time soon another way.
I hope AAA is better this week. Last week, they had Vipers vs. Tinieblas/Zorro/Elegido/Octagon and it was terrible. Just a bunch of guys standing around with chairs until the Messias and Chessman run-in. Totally unwatchable main event. The crowd seemed dead too, but that might be because they waited through a long rain delay.
10.2 rating for AAA means 10.2% of Mexico City’s 8,000,000 homes watched the main event. So a little more than 800,000 homes, and probably more than 1,000,000 sets of eyeballs saw it. Speaking about TV, IWRG got a great deal. TVC is on basic cable in many markets. This really increases their exposure.
What I don’t get is does this mean IWRG is now airing two TV shows or are both shows the same?
I’m wondering the same thing. Since the first taping is outside Naucalpan, and in Monterrey of all places, I’ll speculate they’re doing two shows for now.
