04/20: Jeque, Shocker, Mexico preview

ESTO has a couple of interviews today. They talk to Jequetalk to Shocker. It’s a career bio, but they briefly touch on WWE (without mentioning it by name.) Shocker says he’s not going back to the US, because they don’t respect his experience and level. Shocker figures he’s got 10-15 years left in him, as long as he stays in shape.

The producer of the soap opera Mistico will be on starting in July plans to unmask Mistico. Figuratively – we’re going to see the real man behind the mask who started out living on the streets (so ‘real’ is slightly not real.)

The main event is High Society vs Guerreros, but one again, the real main event is the semimain – Mistico and amigos vs the Trio of Terror.

CMLL (FRI) 04/20 Arena Mexico
1) Danger & Moltov vs Caligula & Messala
2) Leono, Valiente, Virus vs Euforia, Nosfearatu, Satanico
3) Alex Koslov, Blue Panther, Ultimo Dragon vs Misterioso II, Sangre Azteca, Tarzan Boy
4) Mistico, Negro Casas, Sagrado vs Averno, Ephesto, Mephisto
5) Marco Corleone, Rey Bucanero, Shocker vs Atlantis, Olimpico, Ultimo Guerrero

I think Satanico’s a rudo just for one night, but we’ll see.

Tonight’s also an AAA TV taping – they tape this Friday and next Friday, so no Dr. Morales for AAA for a bit. I presume they’ll start mentioning the May tapings on AAA TV this weekend.

IWRG’s site is still down. So is El Halcon.

  1. There’s a miserious “Lucha Libre” hour for tonight at 21:00 (Local time)… PPV? AAA Sin Limite?

  2. 2) Black Warrior, Misterioso II, Tarzan Boy b Leono, Sagrado, Vola… uh, Virus

I think it is PPV, but which matches… not sure…

  3. Well how about that. I thought this show would be long forgotten about. Good to see they showed the segunda and not waste time on the women’s opener.

  4. They showed a women’s match in FSE GdR… but it was from last week as it was a 3 fall bout…

  5. Segunda, Triada del Terror match, and Ultimo/Mistico. Went on for 1:38, and looked to be better than the usual show, of course, the regular show is 1:45, and has the show wrap up, aficionado, skits, momentos estelares, this, had none of it except a brief welcome by Magadan and Rivera, I guess Morales was covering boxing somewhere since he was not there this time.
