This is the annual Luchas 2000 show, though they’ve been held at Arena Coliseo previously. I’m not completely sure if that’s supposed to be two different tournaments, or one combined one. It’s a father/son thing, though in some cases that’s not true – the Stukas are brothers, one much younger than other. Hijo de Mascara 2000 is a new (fake?) son of Mascara Ano 2000, not the one who’s been in IWRG. Rayman and Rayo teaming together is interesting – you think it’s possible it’s a new Rayman?
Not sure what the deal is with the main event, if someone’s losing their way in to that spot or what.
Is Dragon still running on the 12th? That’d be back to back three show weekends.
Shit, that Luchas2000 show looks pretty neat. Will probably be about the closest i’ll ever get to seeing one of my dream matches – the Voladors V Misteriosos!
And the awesome sounding Opener….. the new Rey Misterio… Rayman and Rayo teaming… a hair/mask match…. Volador Sr for one night….

Aside from Extreme Tiger, that Luchas 2000 show looks AWESOME! Fuck a four way, Volador/Volador Jr. vs Stuka/Stuka Jr. is straight out of my dreams!
I assume Mictlan and Texano Jr. will look alright just b/c it’ll be family working against each other so they’ve been practicing something like this for years and years.
Main will probably be Dandy or Satanico… probably Satanico. Either way, two guys with no hair working a match at 20% the speed of everything else on the night. I doubt it’ll be well received unless an older crowd shows up.
The show may be taped. The last Luchas 2000 show was and so was the year before. Just hard to track them down.
I will be voting in the awards this weekend since it’s a 3 day weekend.
That Luchas 2000 show sounds better than the last PPV.
