Let me be the last person to report this…
AAA’s confirmed who’s going to be in the Rey de Reyes match, and it matches the lineup that was circulating around, as does the main event, so I figure this is as much confirmation as we can expect to get that the lineup is correct, 16 days out.

AAA is/was trying to get Kurt Angle for that last main event spot, but the price for him is/was too high.
Rey Misterio Jr. is scheduled to appear in a non-wrestling capacity. WWE’s supposedly is aware that he’s going to be appearing on a show with TNA guys and is supposedly okay with this. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop.
Thinking about it now – if the Dark Family is facing the Mexican Powers before this show in a non-tournament match, obviously it ought to be Ozz & Cuervo as the other team in the tag final.
Now: Top four finishers move on. I guess I was right, with one of my five hundred guesses.
Don’t jynx it! Super Fly/Pegasso would make it a much more entertaining match and it’d be far less repetitive than ANOTHER MexPower/Secta match. Even a three-way would be okay.
Overall the card doesn’t look too bad. You’d have to think for sure Apache is losing his hair this time, perhaps when Fabi turns on him.
Card is smartly put together as the crowd will be hot for the first three matches, then the Porky match will bring them down a bit so they can still be hot for the final two matches. The main event is gonna be unbelieavbly awful though. Hopefully Konnan overbooks it like the old TJ stuff and just has run-ins so the guys in the actual match have nothing to do but wait for the finish. Also, hopefully Scott Steiner no-shows b/c he’s a dick and won’t give the Mexicans anything.
I actually hope Steiner shows up. To see the no selling contest between him and Cibernetico will be worth watching.
Rhyno in the Rey de Reyes is interesting. I’d like to see how he adapts to this environment.
I think the mystery man will either be Headhunter or maybe some TNA guy like Joe or Christian.
Wait, the torneo is ending already? That’s, like, a year early!
Don’t worry, in April the tournament for the AAA Trios Titles will start!!! Super Fly, Pegasso and Rey Cometa! The latter of whom will eventually be replaced by Nemesis of course.
Word is that Angle charged 10,000 Dollars at New Japan, so I’m guessing that is what he would be asking to work for AAA, but AAA is already paying 8000 for Latin Lover, and he’s selling far more tickets than Kurt… it’s true, it’s ture!!
I think the final should be Mexipowers vs Secta vs SFly/Pegasso vs Zumbido/Alan…
Whatever will Konnan do without Kurt Angle? How will he survive running an AAA show in front of a full house unless he can claim someone from TNA drew it? Well… there’s always Lance Hoyt b/c we all know those damn Mexicans can’t draw in their own country.

Hehe, I haven’t seen WWE in years, and last week, I checked up TNA on a webfeed, but I don’t really bother enough to see them cut promos or stuff… or even bother to see the matches, I just wanted to see how the fed worked…
Actually, they really going overboard with the ticket prices, ranging from 500 the highest (45 dollar) to the cheapest 100 pesos (9.1 dollar), which is more or less half of the price scheme CMLL had for the 2006 anniversary show… which was outrageusly expensive…
Of course, the show seems to be stupidly packed, Latin Lover back in Naucalpan after 18 months, Ciber “working” after a couple of Toreo shows sidelined… Rey Jr will be there… of course, the usual AAA show which always seems to draw well no matter what… and of course, Lance Hoytt, how could I forget about that… nah! KENZO!!! Oh well…
Looks like it will be the four-way final b/c the Fuerza Aerea/Guapos went to a draw and Escoria/Espiritu’s win means nothing really.
That card needs some undercard fliers to round it off and make it more balanced. So if the tag title does go to a 4-way, it has the makings of a pretty neat lineup from top to bottom, even for an AAA hater like me :)
Match 4 looks awful though. They should have made it an atomicos and thrown Oriental or Laredo Kid into it to at least give it a bit of life.
Sucks to be Intocable if Latin Lover’s back. Then again, maybe AAA could start a strippers stable and sign up Fabian and Tony Rivera to get them off my CMLL TV screen :D
And they’d be as well putting Nicho into the main event, but i guess they aren’t going to if they’re advertising it as a mystery.
I am looking forward to Rey de Reyes very much. I’m going to stay away from this place for a few weeks afterwards so I don’t know who wins or anything. As for the matches, the mini’s match looks great. I’m glad to see Mascarita Sagrada making a return. His fall on his head was very hard to watch.
The Mexican Powers vs whoever will be awesome for me. I’m a big fan of Los Mexican Powers and am excited to see who they face. Billy vs Apache in a hair match? Awesome. I loved the last one, one of my favorite matches last year. Hopefully I see a bald Apache. And I’m a big Billy Boy fan. The Porky tag is weird but I like Zorro, Antifaz and Histeria a lot. Should be good. The Rey de Reyes looks cool. I do not like Rhyno but the rest are some good ones. Let’s go ABISMO!! The main event? I love Los Hell Brothers but do not like Scott Steiner. Kenzo is alright, though I didn’t see him since WWE really. Hopefully the mystery is someone good. Overall good show. I wish La Secta were on it. Same with Laredo Kid, Pegasso, Super Fly, El Angel, and Elegido. Still should be good.
