Filmeweb has an interview with Raúl Cuesta about his new short documentary – “Maximo”. Yea, that one. It sounds like it’s about how it’s like playing an exotico. The film is describe as “An intimate portrait of a Lucha Libre wrestler in Mexico who has developed a homosexual character in the ring, although he himself isn’t gay.” They got picked up by the San Diego Latin Film Festival – looks like it’ll air next Friday night.
Both Bihari and I have different sources confirming Brillante being the one from Gomez Palacio, that would be, Brillante Jr, son of the guy who worked in AAA waaaaaay back to its early days…
Thats good to know, because from the 3 or 4 matches i’ve saw of him, at this point in time Astro Boy sucks!
