01/12-14 Lucha Times

AAA: If I’m following everything right (and it took me like three weeks to smarten up), this is the first Best Of week. It’ll be the first time Billy Boy/Gran Apache has aired on Gala (they skipped that episode), though I think it’s clipped. Normal times.

GdR: I’m so thankful to see the women, mostly because they won’t be Fabian el Gitano. If they are, I’ll be mighty confused.

FSE (mexico only): The Coliseo semi-main, if it airs here, sounds like it should be ten minutes of good fun.

AAA Mexico: Here, they’re back with the post-GdT (for the first time), if I’m paying attention correctly. The Puebla taping airs next week.

CMLL Mexico: Top 3?

01/10: nothing much

Ovaciones has an interview with Perro Aguayo Jr., who promises to keep defeating the idols of CMLL. Everyone’s been gunning for him since he came in (and still now that he considers himself an independent), and he’s willing to take anyone on in a stakes match.

Lufisto, who’s wrestled in the Monterrey area, has announced her (probable) retirement due to a back injury.

El Heraldo de Chiapas has a profile of Captian Furia and El Mexicano, tag team champions of the South Texas (and local Rudo Tag Team of the year.)

Zocalo.com has an bio piece on the Panterita of Monclova

These have been up for a while, but I haven’t pointed them out before – CMLL’s put up bios of Atlantis, Black Warrior, Blue Panther, Damian 666, Dos Caras Jr., Dr. Wagner Jr., Felino, Heavy Metal, Hector Garza, Halloween, Mephisto, Mistico, Negro Casas, Olimpico, Rey Bucanero, Sagrado, Ultimo Guerrero, and Volador Jr.

AAA’s added new pictures to it’s bios for Brazo de Plata, Joe Lider, and Crazy Boy. They’ve also posted a preview of the next TV card, and that’s just mostly the lineup we’ve already seen.
