Winner: Rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 10:35
Approx Rating: Okay.
Other Match Notes: No entrances

1: Fabian el Gitano and Arkangel once again get the long mat open, including a wacky submission where Arkangel spends 15 seconds trying to spread Fabian's legs too far apart from behind. This is a lot of Arkangel being goofy to cover for Fabian being Fabian. There seems to be a segment of the crowd which agrees with me on Fabian, which is always nice. THERE'S A CLOWN IN THE ROWDY TECNICO SECTION. He's the drummer tonight. It's very disorienting. They use the Okumura/Tony sequence to talk about Kenzo and Marco. Superkick count: 1. Ark ends ups ending Tony out with a rolling jumping back elbow, and keeps him down with a top rope plancha. Loco Max spears Fabian and finishes him with a figure four, and Leono's only in long enough to be beat by Okumura. It's nice that someone's talked Okumura out of killing people with his German suplex.

2: Match is in full beatdown mood to start the fall. El Thundercat gets hung in the corner for a Loco Max dropkick. Fabian once again tries chest slapping everyone and dancing - mixed reaction at best - and takes a triple dropkick, which would've been great if he didn't stand there bracing himself for a sec. Crowd laughs when Fabian gets caught on a roll, but Fabian ducks a double chop to start the comeback anyway. Leono in with a missile dropkick, out with a tornillo (Okumura holding on to him for dear life.) Arkangel takes backdrop from Fabian and a 'rana from Tony to finish him off, while Fabian is still stuck at the "we don't trust you using anything more complicated than a tirabuzón" level.

3: Loco Max insists on facing Fabian el Gitano. The announcers bring up Loco Max being the Mexican Lightweight Champion here - does that mean he's still champ? I'd go for a series of Loco Match/Leono matches for a nearly fictional title. Fabian does tilt-a-whirl backbreakers and gets booed. I almost feel bad for him. Okumura and Leono in, with Leono running circles around Leono, though not literally. Superkick count: 2. After that, Leono would like to face Arkangel, but he's too busy doing anything else. Tony and Arkangel instead., once Tony gets enough people to chant for him. Arkangel slaps him so hard, he hurts his own hand. They go into a chest slap battle, though Arkangel almost is falling down before Tony hits his big one. Tony starts on his showcase bit, but Arkangel actually cuts him off with a clothesline, and then stops him again after a whip by getting in a corner whip, though Tony eventually comes back with a headscissors to send it out. Loco Max takes a monkey flip into the ropes, slides out, and gets wiped out by a Tony run up the ropes plancha to the outside, which the production crew films perfectly. It's not as good from there - they stick with Loco Max and Tony prepping to catch the next dive, belatedly switch back to the ring, and choose a camera angle which prevents us to see the dive - Arkangel getting only Loco and not Tony on a pescado. Fabian tries to get the crowd cheering for his dive, and then gets wiped out big time on a Okumura clothesline. Okumura's ready for his dive, and Tony takes him out with a back elbow. Tony calls Leono in, and backdrops his partner into a pescado onto Arkangel and Loco Max, who kinda sort catch him. Tony knocks the pile down with a tope. Okumura nd Fabian left in, and Fabian tentatively moves out of the way of a missile dropkick. Whip, reversed, Okumura drop toe hold and camel clutch cradle - for three! Announcers remember Tony's the captain, and Okumura goes out to - talk to his partners. You're supposed to pull them in, dude. Arkangel reminds him someone should beat the count, and while Okumura is actually outside when the twenty is counted, let's assume the count wasn't for him. The doctor checks on Tony's right knee - I think it's more an explanation for why he didn't make it back in than a new injury - as Arkangel and Okumura convince the referees that they indeed won the match. The referees apparently decide there's too much paperwork involved in draws, and go along with the whole "Okumura wasn't out for 20" dealio.

This week, they're giving away a Sagrado mask if you mail armando.padilla@mvs.com. Is anyone doing this?

Match 2: Pierroth (c), Sangre Azteca, Terrible vs Mictlan, Sagrado (c), Texano Jr.

Winner: Rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 16:59
Approx Rating: As good as can be expected with certain members of this crew.
Other Match Notes: Mictlan is using some scifi theme I should recognize. Sagrado has a silver on silver mask tonight, making him look like someone else with a silver mask. Sangre's wearing his belt every week, which is neat. At least Terrible is actually on this show. Terrible hopes to win Shocker's hair (so that's still going) and the trios belts in '07. He may get one of those. I've not missed not having Pierroth in my life.

1: Terrible and Texano start, and include a long test of strength. Who's the bald ref here? Did he lose a hair match? It doesn't look like anyone I should know. Texano gets the edge thru armdrags. Lots of Terrible/Texano chain wrestling, which is odd. They get bored and just start chest slapping each other - Terrible walks off, I think because he realizes Texano's wearing a vest and probably isn't going to lose this. Mictlan and Sangre the their turn. They get a long-ish (by this show's standards) chain wrestling segment as well. Sagrado and Pierroth probably won't be the same. Pierroth is very offended Sagrado won't shake hands with him, and immediately starts armdragging and hiptossing him around when he does. Pierroth sends Sagrado out with a shoulderblock, and Sagrado limps back to his corner - oh, no he's heading for the apron. Sagrado battles his way back in - springboard plancha including and knocks down Pierroth with a enziguri. Match breaks down from there, with Sangre and Texano left in the ring, and a Sangre middle rope 'rana reversed into a skull crushing powerbomb, which makes the announcers scream. Mictlan wraps up Terrible, and that's it.

2: Did they lose the second fall sign? The valet just has a 2. Pierroth starts by working over Texano, even running (!!!) for a corner clothesline. He slightly jogged when it was time for him to eat a boot, though, and goes back to handing in the middle of the ring while guys do moves to him until it's time for him to leave. Texano's very into the matador wave today. Mictlan and Sangre in again - it's almost like they want you to slightly thing about these guys in a future matchup, you know? -  and Mictlan shows off a handspring elbow which looks good, and a jumping enziguri which could look better. That's a tough move to look good, I think. Terrible comes in for his partner, but misses the big punch and takes a superkick (4), causing him to drunkenly stagger for 10 seconds before falling down. That's some power. Sagrado comes in and rushes the rudo corner to get at Pierroth - this just cases him to get whooped. Terrible even lifts Perro's "punching so much I go crazy" bit, before kicking the other tecnicos questionably low. Beat down is on, though it's oddly Sangre's who doing more watching them fighting. Pierroth shows off his MMA skills with a dragon sleeper on Mictlan. Texano gets bounced around with boots for a while, but they don't get around to pinning him. Sagrado comes back in, getting crotched by the ropes as he does, and chopped many times by Pierroth. Sangre gives him a flap jack, and Pierroth adds the camel clutch for the fall. What's up with all this "Pierroth wins clean" stuff?

They clip out between falls here, because they're out of breaks/Terrible interviews.

3: Again, they just have 3. Someone lost the signs! Sagrado's got his mask untied somewhere along here, and he's sent in with a double boot. Pierroth shows off his karate chops on Mictlan, without having to move at all. Terrible dropkicks Mictlan out with Pierroth and Sangre holding him, though it takes a while for Sangre to realize he's in the way. Texano gets a triple boot. I can't believe someone has a Mictlan banner. He's just some guy who's been here a month! They support their tecnicos, I guess. Sangre and Terrible hold Mictlan and fend off Sagrado so Pierroth can run walk somewhat fast at him, but Texano trips him up and pulls him out. Sagrado comes in with a dropkick and the comeback is on. Sagrado gets in about twelve strikes on Pierroth on the outside, and Pierroth bends down slightly. Texano and Sangre are left in the ring, and Sangre takes a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. He hasn't gotten to do much this match. Texano holds Pierroth for Sagrado to get a shot in the ring, and it actually works. Everyone gets a shot at Pierroth's exposed back, though no one gets the belt this time. Where's La Nazi, anyway? She couldn't be Hiroka's cornerwoman and be at this match? Sangre breaks up the tecnico turn, and gives Mictlan a rolling wheel kick to send him out, following him out with a top rope plancha. Terrible and Texano in, Terrible pretends to rev up the crowd and charges Texano by surprise - his clothesline is ducked, but he comes back to hit one on the second pass. Terrible is yelping a lot, even when he's missing a corner charge and flying out. Texano tries to get him with a double jump plancha, and just barely pulls it off - he slipped on the middle rope and almost didn't get enough spring to get over the top rope. Sagrado and Pierroth are the only two not down from dives, and in the ring. Superkick #5! Not by Pierroth. Sagrado tries a 'rana, Pierroth powerbombs him, one two three. HUH. Pierroth got every single victory for his team, and all of them clean.

Pierroth explains in the post match interview that experience > youth. Terrible gets in one more crazy laugh.

That's it.
