Match 1: Amo de la Noche, Paranoica vs Fuego Extreme, Talaxys
Plaza de Toros, Huamantla, Tlaxcala, 08/15/06

Winner: Tecnicos (Fuego Styles Clash on Amo de la Noche, onto Paranocia)
Match Time: 9:10
Notes: Local guys, who I don't really know, and local ref too, who I sure don't know, and who looks like his job isn't all referee. Joined in progress. Talaxys has his name on his jacket, so there's a hint. Wonderful spot early where they both crawl to their corners after a double knocked down, start to tag, and then realize they have more posts to do. (I guess they could've been going to the wrong corners?) I should know who Paranoica is by watching this all out of order, but by process of elimination, he turns out not to be guy I thought I was. I think. So confused. Here's a replay of something we didn't see to not help at all. The crowd is very excited to be here. Hey, youngsters, when you do a crappy spinning jumping back elbow, that's not the time to stop and pose. Purple Mask loses the ropes on an outside to inside slingshot, and crashes to floor - that was quite something. Of course AAA shows a replay of it. You can tell Orange and Red have worked together five billion times in training. It looks way too rehashed. Crowd actually boos Talaxys after winning the exchange, maybe for the same reasons. Everyone gets to d o a dive, and I realize I'm watching way too much of this match. YAY SPOTS. Great mood to be starting this show in. Fuego Extreme has a bad kickout. For the stuff they're mimicking, you'd think they'd have better kickouts. They're very into smashing one guy into the other.

Interview: Estrellita talks about Tiffany and Cibernetico (accompanied with video of Cibernetico with some chica.) She's not into Shocker. This goes on for quite a while. Again, we're in the blue screen room, by the way. Oh, it's over.

Match 2: El Gallego, Mini Charly Manson, Sexy Francis, Tiffany (c) vs Estrellita (c), Mascarita Divina, Path Finder, Pimpinela Escarlata
Plaza de Toros, Huamantla, Tlaxcala, 08/15/06

Winner: Tecnicos (Estrellita backslide Tiffany)
Match Time: 14:21
Notes: Sexy Francis is bald here because - uh, I dunno. I have less than 0 interest in this one.

Beatdown around 7:30 in. Estrellita got held up high, and Mini Charly Manson dropkicked her right in the face. That's not fun. Divina started the comeback by sidestepping a charge at 10:30. Estrellita may not like Shocker, but she stopped in the middle of attacking Tiffany to do the Shocker dance. They battled to the back for a moment, but came back while replays were going. Everyone gets in dives, though no one one's really impressive. Since AAA seems to have production people wander across the stage during matches often enough, I thought nothing when a guy in a white polo shirt stopped on the stage for a second - it wasn't till he ran to the ring that I realized it was Shocker. Tiffany had completely control of Estrellita at the time, but Shocker grabbed Estrellita on a  whip and - kissed her? Huh. Estrellita stumbled around, weakened by the power of Shocker's kiss, so Shocker and Tiffany killed time by kissing as well. Uh, okay. This run in caused Tiffany to lose the match - Estrellita promptly got her in a backslide for the win. What the heck? Shocker was unhappy. So am I!

Match 3: Policeman, Apache, Pesadilla, Kaoma Jr., Mr. Condor, Paranoica vs Rey Cometa, Laredo Kid, Super Fly, Chiva Rayada I, Nemesis, Pegasso in a seeding cibernetico
Plaza de Toros, Huamantla, Tlaxcala, 08/15/06

Elimination order:

Survivors: Policeman and Rey Cometa Jr.
Match Time: 16:37
Other Match Notes: Why did Nemesis enter with Chiva I and Pegasso rather than the rest of the Air Force? Policeman truly believes he is a Policeman. Gran Apache gets a big cheer. I think it's for him, anyway. What are we doing here, anyway?

This takes me forever to figure out, and I hope the announcers do one heck of a job getting over, because it still makes no sense just watching it. The match starts as a 12 man free for all, with people leaving the ring both willing and unwillingly, and some coming back in the ring - there are no rules, people just come and go. Eventually, a sequence of events leads to just Pegasso and Policeman being in the ring, and it operates like a rudos vs tecnicos cibernetico there.

Sequences:
- Pegasso and Policeman
- Rey Cometa and Kaoma Jr., straight out of Queretaro. Cometa has a nice top rope tornillo to the floor
- Chiva and Condor do a little more wackiness, with Chiva getting in a Chiva headbutt
- Paranoica and Super Fly, who I'm having a hard time pick out in his new gear (it helps they say his name a dozen times). Super Fly blows a backdrop started slingshot to the apron, though that's partly Paranoica's fault (who doesn't seem to be that good.) Super Fly recovers with better spots on the floor.
- Paranoica and Rey Cometa, helping out his ally when Paranocia does too many moves. He gets a 450 for his trouble, and that's our first pin.
(Apache clears Cometa out and leaves himself)
- Pesadilla and Laredo Kid - I think it's Arturo Rivera who blanks on Laredo Kid here for a humorous moment, though he does know Pesadilla's name. Pesadilla is doing the Spanish Fly to the floor, and they barely survive.
- Nemesis and Gran Apache. Apache's a bit too blatant in setting up a flip early, and in general in feeding himself for Nemesis stuff - but Nemesis stuff looks good. Nemesis gets him with a plancha to the floor
- Chiva I vs Kamoa Jr. and Mr. Condor. Chiva out smarts both of them for a bit, but takes Kamoa's tope rope senton to set up a Condor pin.
- Super Fly and Kamoa Jr., who pulled of a top rope superplex. With both men down, Nemesis slipped into to pin Kamoa Jr. but was celebrating and missed Apache doing the same to his partner. (He did realize in time to stare and do nothing, which may have been worse.)
- Nemesis and Apache stayed in, but we missed a bit catching replays of pinfalls.
- and it was Laredo Kid and Mr. Condor by the time we were back. Laredo crashed hard on a missed corkscrew moonsault.
- Pesadilla slipped in and attempted murder with an out of control somersault legdrop - Laredo Kid got his arms up to protect himself, but still got pin.
- Pegasso quickly finished Mr. Condor.
- Rey Cometa and Gran Apache. Which turned into a six way while were watching replays.
- it gets sorted out with a Nemesis front legsweep cradle on Pesadilla.
- Policeman quickly returns the favor with a powerbomb on Nemesis.
- Pegasso and Gran Apache, with Pegasso getting a near fall before Apache got him with his move.
- Cometa dropkick Apache down, and lands a springboard back elbow drop fro two. Apache tries to chop him down, but Laredo finished with a cradle for the win.

Of course, Policeman still attacks him. I enjoy Arturo knowing instantly and exactly who would face, when, and where. It's as if this was figured out ahead of time.

11/04- RIP Roberto Rangel. Odd footage they're using; of course Rangel is ref-ing the match, but it's a match with Satanico ripping off Bucanero's Infernal tights (2001?) and a Coliseo match with Bestia/Scorpio/Emilio beating down a Villano brother and Olimpico and III covering him up. Maybe it's just the first tape Televisa had on hand
- Tiffany and Estrellita got into a fight outside Arena Coliseo Monterrey. And now some oddly zoomed in show where women are getting into fights and Cibernetico is talking. The highlight is a host slapping Cibernetico's head with her cue cards, and then having none of yet another Tiffany/Estrellita fight. Cibernetico's shrug is great as well.
- AAA is still leaving Mexico at some point. Change the locks while they're gone!
- Cibernetico bought discounted merchandise from the Punisher movie, I think. Also he talks - Sect Cibernetica is his evil sect, and other people should not be taking over. He'll back in three months.

Interview: Black Family. What's the deal with the Sect? Cuervo calls Cibernetico "Dos Caras" but probably doesn't mean the proper noun there; he's two faced. They're in with Muerte Cibenetica, who appears at the end of the segment.

Match 4: Cuervo (c), Ozz, Scoria vs Crazy Boy (c), Joe Lider, Psicosis II
Plaza de Toros, Huamantla, Tlaxcala, 08/15/06

Winner: Mexipowers
Match Time: 22:27
Other Match Notes: The Mexican Powers jerseys have area codes on the back of them. Where did Juvi ever get that idea? They're way too happy to find a groupie in the crowd. Black Family are wearing the Atomicos belts and have fire for no reason - I guess they had it in the budge and since Picudo isn't using it anymore?

1: Dark Family beatdown. Lider's back is gross. Of course, he's the one who doesn't wear a shirt. Liders takes a  middle rope toss onto a chair after the pinfalls just 'cause.

2: More beatdown. Scoria is keeping has a flesh colored brace on his left shoulder, and is keeping his arm tucked into his body whenever possible. They teased the comeb ack once, and actually did it about 3 minutes in.

3: Ozz tears up the groupie's Lider sign. So sad. He's not happy. Ozz has a great between the ropes corkscrew dive in this fall too. Cuervo eventually takes a bad bump protecting on a dive, and he's done after aggravating the shoulder. Meanwhile, Scoria gets Lider in a submission hold, and waits, and waits, and waits - who's supposed to be coming here? Scoria gives up, and switches to another hold - hey, there's Juvi, wearing a neckbrace (and still turning his head - neat trick.) The referees are distracted, and so is the director, because we don't see exactly what Lider and Crazy do to beat Cuervo, but he's pinned. Juvi tries to do the "yay I'm happy they won, oops OWW I'M HURTING SO MUCH AND NOT FAKING AT ALL" bit, and it goes as you'd expect it. Mexipowers want a title shot. I want Joe Lider to wear a shirt, we all don't get what we want. Of course, Juvi gets a time to talk. Everyone gets time to talk.

I love how this replay shows Juvi shaking his head no. You've got a neckbrace on! You can't do that! Mexican Powers apparently gave Cuervo a double powerbomb.

Match 5: Alan Stone (c), Scorpio Jr., Shocker vs Intocable (c), La Parka Jr., Octagon
Plaza de Toros, Huamantla, Tlaxcala, 08/15/06

Winner: Rudos (Octagon crucifix rollup on Shocker, Intocable sliced bread #2 Alan)
Match Time: 12:42
Other Match Notes: I haven't taken the drugs to understand why Shocker and Scorpio Jr. are dressed up like crazy beach bums here, but I'm sure it makes sense to them. Octagon has his Middleweight Title, because they're remembering his champ for one week. Again, we have multiple kids jumping the rail to get close to La Parka Jr. Shocker goofs around with him.

Guapos jump the tecnicos, and it turns into every match ever. Guapos at least have some teamwork spots worked out. Intocable turns the tables with a double Sliced Bread #2. There's a quite a bit of stalling by the rudos before they get to the one on ones. Parka does a "I'm bored" spot at one point and I'm so with him. A lot of rudo buffonry. Shocker gets surprised by Octagon when going for a dive, and Octagon gets the cradle of his pin, while Intocable uses his new move of the day to wrap it up.
