CMLL FSE - 09/03/06 (#4)
Recapped: 03/09/07

Match 1: Hooligan, Loco Max, Nitro (c) vs Mascara Purpura, Stuka Jr., Virus (c)
Arena Coliseo, 08/27/06

  1. rudos
  2. tecnicos
  3. tecnicos

Winner: Tecnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 9:51
Approx Rating: By the numbers - nothing noteworthy here.
Other Match Notes: They list the rudos as the rudos, which is fine, but they list the tecnicos as the rudos, which is not fine.

1: Felino and Nitro get the opening mat segment, and the rudos start the beatdown at 2:00 rather than allowing any more. Beatdown is unmemorable.

2: Tecnicos turns the tide about 1:30 into the fall when Stuka slides under a corner kick from Leono. Purpura gets in a tope on Nitro to take him out while the other two finish up.

3: Tecnico showcases: Purpura/Loco (Purpura looks very mechanical doing his stuff), Stuka/Hooligan (Stuka has timing issues - these are both minor problems but obvious places to improve) and Virus/Nitro (who aren't together on which post Virus wants to run up for the armdrag for a moment.) It's breaks very briefly into a four way after that, but it's really quick to the finish. Purpura landed the SSP clean, which is always cause for celebration.

Match 1: Damian 666, Perro Aguayo Jr. (c), Mr. Aguila vs Dos Caras Jr., Hijo de Lizmark, Mistico (c)
Arena Coliseo, 08/27/06

  1. rudos
  2. tecnicos
  3. tecnicos

Winner: Tecnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 16:55
Approx Rating: Usual heated Mistico/Perros match - one of those that dramatically improve with the sound
Other Match Notes:

1: Perro attacks Monito and Mistico as they enter. Mistico gets crotched on the post in short order. Beatdown on the others as well. Perro gives him snake eyes on the apron next, and then taunts some front row fans. Aguila and Damian are working over the masks in the ring. Perro chokes Mistico with a scarf, drags him around the ring by the scarf, and the poses with the scarf. And then he does it with Monito in the ring. Mistico gets beat by the other two while Perro chokes out Monito - Mistico breaks free long enough to put a stop to that and cover up Monito. So they untie Mistico's mask, and force a PDM's shirt on Mistico. Dropkick in while he's in the shirt, and a double armbar (so it looks like he's posing with them, kinda.) Damian holds him for the running double stomp and that's that. Not much on that stomp this time, but it worked. Actually, it looks fine in the replay, so never mind.

2: Beatdown goes on. Mostly brawling. Lizmark in the rind, Dos out of, Mistico fooling around with a t-shirt. Aguila uses a mask pull cavernaria on Lizmark and holds on well past the five count, but the refs are letting it go. Mistico turns it around on the outside while we're paying attention to stuff on the inside - he feeds Damian to Dos, who throws him around in the aisle, and the tracks down Perro in the crowd and thrust kicks him. Perro goes thru the ring, in one side, but stuck on the other side and hung up by the ropes, which makes it easy for Dos and Mistico to kick him. Perro tries hiding behind a female photographer next. Mistico uses the PdM shirts he's holding to distract Perro, and rip up the shirt he's wearing. Tecnicos working him over. Aguila tries to help, but he's kicked away. Aguila comes back in and hugs his partner, which the tecnicos don't approve - so it's a triple spine kick to the two of them. And now the second shirt is ripped off Perro. Perro escapes, and Dos and Damian are left in. Powerslam by Dos, Dos reaches down to grab Damian, Aguila comes in with a sunset flip on him, Lizmark breaks that up. Double armbar on Damian, and a double enziguri for him. Dos gets the armscissors on Damian (though the entry was odd) and Lizmark lands the spinning side slam on Lizmark. Mistico and Perro chase each other around the ring - except Mistico starts running the other way around the ring and clotheslines Perro. Mistico back in the ring - and a tope out! Save some for the third fall, maybe? The refs separate those two - but then Mistico is back and punching Perro as soon as he can, so never mind. The ref yells at Mistico, and Mistico threatens to go though him - he ends up going around and knocking Perro around more. Tecnicos are doing spots with Monito in the in ring in the meantime, it seems - we go to replays as Monito get the big top rope splash on both of them.

3: Perros try rushing Dos at the bell, and he throws them around. Damian takes a spinning headscissors, Perro some armdrags. Perros decide to roll out, Perro almost punching the camera man by accident. Lizmark and Damian. Crowd's been into this whole match and is loud for Lizmark. Lizmark misses a dropkick. Damian headbutts him, and hurts his own head. Chop. Corner whip, reversed, Lizmark charges in, Damian puts him on the top rope, chest slap works, but Damian throws him down by the head and plancha Aguila as he com sin. Aguila and Damian manage to double chop him down, and pose. Aguila dances. Anyone going to follow up? Nah, they're just going to stand around until Lizmark does the spinaroonie. Hiptoss for Aguila, Damian rammed into him and superkicked. That was actually a good superkick. No one wants to go in to face Lizmark - Damian's thrown in, but hides in the corner. Mistico in, and Dos walks around the ring and throws in Perro to face him. Perro tags out to Damian. Perro rethinks it and comes in and offers to fight form his knees to make it free. Looks like Aguila will wrestler instead. Eventually. Mistico listens to the crowd chanting for him. Aguila on his knees and mocking Mistico - now up with a big back elbow to knock him over. Whip, under the double clothesline, handspring for no reason, and he stops right in position to be back elbowed down by Damian and Aguila. Mistico's thrown to his feet, lands on the apron. Aguila gets his back slapped, and Mistico springboards in with a headscissors on Damian. Both Damian and Aguila are loaded up the ropes, for double 619. Springboard dropkick to both of them, causing them both to go out of the ring. Mistico sets up for dive, but Perro blocks his path. Faceoff. Perro goes to the corner and poses as the fans chant for Mistico. Mistico asks the crowd to be quiet for a second, so we can hear the Perros chants. Perro soaks them in. Now he signals the Mistico chants, louder. Now they settled the crowd down - so they can hear the impact of Perro's big chest slap on Mistico. Mistico's knocked down, and slow to get up. Face to face. Mistico gets a turn - chest slap, makes sweat fly but he's fine. Damian and Perro mock the lightness of the chop. Perros turn for a chop - and he punches instead. Stomp down, and smashing Mistico's head into the mat. Perro loses his mind for a moment, but none of his crazy punches connect. Mistico backed into the corner. Corner whip, Mistico walks up the ropes and comes back with an armdrags. Hiptoss, hiptoss., dropkick, off the ropes - no, Mistico stops short because Perro runs all the way around the ring. A full lap, even. Mistico waits for him to stop, and topes him anyway. Lizmark and Main in. Lizmark misses a clothesline, and Damian and Aguila are on him with punches. Damian goes out, so it's Aguila and Lizmark who - have communication problems, really, but they eventually get to the Lizmark superkick. Aguila goes out, pulls out Lizmark with him, and eats another superkick. Inside, Dos gets Damian with a plancha, backdrops him to the apron, slides out underneath him, and pulls him off the apron, so Damian's chin hits the apron. Mistico and Perro back in again. Mistico off the ropes, handspring for no reason, Damian charges, dropkick get a ref, not Mistico. That's unfortunate. La Mistica, but no one there to check it, and Damian breaks it up with kicks. Perro holds Mistico for Damián to get a running shot on, but Dos pulls Damian out. Mistico punching his way free, listening to the crowd, maybe a move? Ref is still down with the other one checking on him. 'rana by Mistico, but no ref to count. Perro yanks Mistico mask and reverses it, but there's still no ref. Hey, Dos, you're right there, break it up! Perro gets annoyed and gets the ref's attention, as Mistico get his mask back on. Corner whip, Mistico backdropped out, caught by the legs, and low blow kicked. Ref over to count, one two - now the ref stops to look at the crowd, one two three. Ref pats Perro on the corner to get him off Mistico, and then raises Mistico's arm.

Perro declares himself winner, but that's not how it works. Aguila takes a camera to screw around, but takes off when he sees Dos nearby. Replays.
