CMLL Mini Line - 03/25/06 (#216)
Recapped: 03/26/06

Welcome To The Show Vignette: Ultimo Guerrero and Rey Bucanero.

They clip out something (vignette) in the opening segment. Galavision does that a lot (different commercial break lengths?), but this was more noticeable.

Vignette: prepping production of the Arena Mexico show. Even inside the valet room!

Match 1: Pantera (c), Tigre Metalico, Tony Rivera vs Loco Max, Hooligan, Arkangel (c)
Arena Coliseo, 10/25/05

  1. rudos
  2. tecnicos
  3. tecnicos

Winner: Tecnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 8:15
Approx Rating: Good. 81-ish.
Other Match Notes: No entrances. Rudos are a Guerrero group and all wearing red and black. Right as we look at the match graphics, Loco Max makes a stab at grabbing tecnicos, but he's nowhere near them and ends up eating the middle rope. Loco Max is insane. Tony is wearing this Tonny tights.

Tony and Arkangel start. They work a fair bit of chain stuff to start, first on the arm, and then Arkangel takes Tony down to work a legbar. Into a zero count. Is that a Hooligan chant? Huh. Ark and Tony are good together (which make sense because they've had about a billion matches by now), and last a while before we switch to Hooligan Tigre Metalico. They get to the zero count stuff quick. Metalico gets a quick armdrags and Hooligan mocks him before leaving. Loco Max and Pantera. Loco misses a clothesline by a lot, and Pantera's like "that's Loco Max for you." Pantera runs the ropes with extra flips for no reason, and still manages to armdrag Loco. Loco grabs Pantera's arm for an armbar and walks up the ropes for the Mexican armdrag, but Pantera easily breaks the hold and laves Loco standing on the top rope. Loco drops down hard and gets a dropkick out. Hooligan and Ark rush the tecnicos, knocking Pantera out and giving Tony a big backdrop. Tony's whipped into the tecnico corner, but Metalico flips him to the apron, and kicks the rudos away. Tony and Metalico go up to the corners, and land stereo missile dropkicks. DOUBLE TOPE! Pantera's in - sounds like Loco tripped coming back in, which is about right. Pantera on Loco's shoulders for a victory roll, but Loco blocks and sits down on top for one two three! (4:43) That's an upset; it's a surprise Loco was just able to sustain Pantera's weight on his shoulders. Quick to the break.

As we return, Tigre Metalico is trying to figure out how they lost that one, and Pantera gestures the last sequence of moves. Tony wanders over by the rudo corner, and Arkangel just decides to strike him down. Hooligan's a bit surprised too, but figures he and Loco better help. Loco decides to rush the other two tecnicos himself, and luckily Hooligan comes over before there's a problem. Beatdown is own. Ark and Hooligan make a wish with Tony, and then the ring is cleared to the rudos and Pantera, who's whipped into Loco's boot. Loco pulls Tigre in, and bites him on the fake ear!  double backdrop by Hooligan and ark. Loco adds a jumping senton. Ark takes a moment to yell at the crowd as Pantera slips back in. Tony's complaining from the apron. Corner whip for Pantera, he sidesteps Hooligan's charge, shoulderblocks Arkangel, off the ropes, and caught by Ark's rolling jumping back elbow. Ark flattens Pantera with a pescado, but now Tony's making his own comeback in the ring, with tilt-a-whirl backbreaker on Loco. Loco loaded up in a inverted Gory Stretch - and that's it for him. (1:34) Tigre in - fast springboard tope, and then he grabs Hooligan's arm and rolls him a couple times into a double armbar pin. One two three. (1:50) That was like a minute long comeback. Pantera congratulates his men, who are really carrying him here. Replays.

Straight into fall three. Even though Pantera's looking right at him, Ark still somehow surprises him with a discuss clothesline. Ark works over Pantera with kicks before whipping him. Tilt-a-whirl is turned into a spinning armdrags, and Ark manages to give Pantera a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker of his own. Pantera wants more, but Ark rolls out and eventually Loco Max comes in. He strikes down Tigre Metalico, replacing Pantera, with some open hand chops and talks trash. Slap to the face, off the ropes, Loco goes over, under, jump roll over, and celebrates before he's really accomplished anything. Tigre Metalico gets him with a jumping back elbow as he turns around. Stomping in the point. Whip, reveres, Tigre ducks the clothesline, and pulls off the spinning headscissors. Loco goes all the way out, Tigre meets him there, Loco tries a punch and takes an armdrags on the floor. Tigre comes back into pose. Tony and Hooligan in. Hooligan sidesteps a chop and forces Tony in the corner, but Tony comes back with a springboard WOW crossbody on a corner whip. Tony off the ropes, sunset flip, Hooligan rolls thru but Tony kips up, blocks a kick, spins Hooligan around, and superkicks him. Tony quick to the middle rope, 'rana sends Hooligan out. Tony setting up - running up the corner plancha to the floor. Loco in - slingshot tope con giro on Tony. Tigre teases a dive, jumps the apron when Loco covers up, and dropkicks him from there. Anyone else? Ark knocks down Pantera before he can help out, and climbs up his corner. - plancha onto Tigre! Tony grabs someone for Pantera to hit - running slingshot tope con giro bowls down a lot of people! Ark and Pantera slug it on the floor, and bring it back to the ring. Ark gets Pantera down with a chop and celebrates for a second. Whip, Pantera tries an up and over sunset flip, Ark starts to block into a powerbomb, Pantera finds the momentum to get over, one two THREE. (2:53) Ark can't believe it. Tony lifts Pantera up in celebration. We get out quick.

Vignette: more behind the scenes of the show of the production of the Arena Mexico show. We watch the guy who gets guys out of the locker room and to the ring on their cue. All the different things for a show - prepping food, taking tickets, etc.

Match 2: Gedo (c), Okumura, Ohara vs Heavy Metal (c), Felino, Maximo
Arena Mexico, 10/28/05

  1. tecnicos
  2. rudos
  3. rudos

Winner: Rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 11:19
Approx Rating: Fine but nothing special.
Other Match Notes: No entrances. This is, of course, a Mexico vs Japan battle. Can Mexico really claim Maximo? I thought he was Roman. Maximo annoys Gedo in some way we don't see, and the Casas brothers prevent Gedo from getting immediate revenge pre-match. Crowd chants for Maximo. Heavy is all fired up and hurts Maximo with his high five. Okumura and Maximo start, with Maximo doing faux marital arts to annoy. Okumura is first to the armdrag, but Maximo rolls out of an armbar on the next exchange and gets his own armbar. Okumura tries some angry strikes, but Maximo blocks them all and does the crane pose. Maximo tags Heavy, but Felino blind tags Heavy as he's coming and cuts him off before he can fight - huh. Felino convinces him to Metal to let him take Ohara. Circle, while the crowd chants for Felino. Ohara briefly gets an hammerlock, but Felino escapes, gets a legscissors, and then takes it around the mat. Ohara frees himself with an armdrags, but then we're immediately into the zero count sequence and forward headstand kip ups. That's over quick, and Metal zooms into the ring so he can hit someone already. Gedo, not in as much a hurry. It allows the crowd chants for Heavy to build for a bit. Gedo shows off his biceps and then they go head to head. Promo for the Torreon show as Metal takes Gedo down and elbow drops him while he's there. Gedo gets beheaded by a Metal clothesline and his handspring elbow looks good. Gedo gets in a couple kicks, but misses on a corner charge and gets lit up by a Metal kick. Metal puts on a corner abdominal stretch. Okumura comes in, but Maximo gets him with a plancha. Felino comes in and gets Okumura with an crucifix rollup (4:26), while Maximo his the springboard butt bump on Ohara (4:25) Maximo's pin gets counted twice because they loose track of who's counting which pin. It works out in the end. Replays and break.

Felino and Okumura pose to start the second fall. Felino tries shoulderblocking Okumura down, but Okumura's just too strong - Felino hurts himself on impact. On the third try, Okumura tries a kick, Felino sidesteps it, and trips him with a kick. Off the ropes some, Okumura celebrates too soon once again and gets a clothesline to the back. Felino works in a middle rope dropkick and  kick to the head when he tricks Okumura into looking down. Maximo and Ohara in. Ohara doesn't want to put up with Maximo's shenanigans.  Maximo hollers when doing moves a lot. His dive fake includes a kiss blown to the rudos, which the crowd loves. Metal and Gedo again, and they an angry discussion. Gedo shows off his biceps again.  Gedo shows off his punches, and Metal won't go down. Gedo loads up for a big one, but still Metal stands up - there's the Heavy Punch in response, and down goes Gedo. Metal tries to go off the ropes, Ohara tries to attack him, and Metal angrily (everything he does ins angrily!) pulls him over the top rope in. Okumura is able to attack Metal from behind in the middle, and the beatdown is on. Okumura clears off the apron while Metal is worked over in the corner. Ohara gets in a shot on Maximo. Maximo is beaten down to his knees, and then gets an atomic drop, kick to the midsection, bulldog combo. Maximo in, and Ohara gets in the first shot again. Atomic drop, kick to the butt, atomic drop, slap to the face by Gedo to top it up. Felino tries to surprise the rudos with a dropkick, but they move out of the way. Double spinebuster, catapulted into a Gedo European Uppercut. Metal in, and he grabs  hold of Ohara, unfortunately leaving him open to the others. Double drop toe hold, Ohara dropkick to the face.  Ohara gets a side bow and arrow while Okumura stomps a mudhole in Metal, and that does it. (3:57). Okumura does stop, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen for a bit. Replays. Break.

Team Japan is celebrating in the ring as we return. Monito is here, dressed with the white shirt and tie, and this is the first we've noticed of him. Maximo comes in, and he takes a set of corner charges. Big punch by Gedo causes Maximo to fall out of the ring. Ohara grabs Felino as he comes in, and gives him a side backbreaker. Triple team stomp. Gedo taunts Metal as he comes in, but he's cornered before he gets anything in. Whip for him, but he slides under Ohara's leg, clotheslines him, inverted atomic drop for Gedo, and a Heavy punch for Okumura. Comeback is on, with Felino clearing people on the ring, and Metal and Maximo isolating Ohara in the ring. Maximo gets a windup chest slap to Ohara and the crowd approves. Ohara's held for a Felino one, which they don't actually show. Oops. Metal and Ohara do a sequence, with Metal sending Ohara out and teasing a dive, only to take a double back elbow from the other two. Maximo tried a double dropkick on both of them, but they split and Maximo goes in the middle. Maximo's whipped back towards the tecnico corner as Felino comes, and Maximo sunset flips his own partner. Felino, of course, rolls thru, and Maximo sorta covers up for the dropkick to the face, but Felino steps over him to get at the rudos, who simply knock him down before he can do anything. That was odd. Maximo's rolled back onto his feet for Okumura to his his inverted DDT for one two three (2:35) though it looked like Maximo had his foot under the ropes; he was trying to find them to break the count. Ohara gets Felino, and gives him the Complete Shot. Going up, and there's the Superfly Splash. One two three. (2:56) Okumura helpfully counted along with the refs. What do you know, Team Mexico lost!

Stellar Moments
Tecnico:
Bam Bam one ups Wagner's ramp dive by using the guardrail as a springboard into a plancha on Mini Violencia. It looks pretty good
Painful: Sagrado flips Masada on a half nelson suplex.
Plancha: Loco Max splashes and pins Sagrado (who was already sorta dead after Masada gave him a split legged fisherman's buster, but let's not nitpick.)
Unusual: Wagner powerslams Atlantis on the ramp, and part of the ramp falls apart on impact.
Spectacular: Mistico and Mr. Aguila both go for the handspring backflip for no reason, but only Mistico gets La Mistica.

Match 3:  La Mascara, Misterioso II, Averno, Negro Casas vs Jado, Volador Jr., Hombre Sin Nombre, Santo in the Leyenda de Plata Block A cibernetico
Arena Mexico, 10/28/05

Winner: Santo
Match Time: 17:41
Approx Rating: 82. Disappointing not to get the open or a longer Negro/Santo second fall.
Other Match Notes: This is THIS Hombre Sin Nombre's debut. We get Jado's entrance (wearing a CTU shirt), and he's presumably last. Averno poses with the trophy, like that's the closest he's getting to it. Maybe he just wants to get close to the valet. They skip the battle royal and give us the sides. The polar bear is here! This is a big show!

Averno and Volador Jr., looking solid gold, start off when we first see action (though it already feels like we missed something.) Averno backs off while Volador flips off the ropes, but his clothesline misses and Volador gets with a spinning headscissors, and then a springboard variation. Out goes Averno, out foes Volador and we get the Asai Moonsault in short order. Misterioso and Safari in. HSN and Misterioso in, and HSN looks tiny compared to him for some reason. Maybe I didn't realize how big Misterioso is. HSN gets in a dropkick to the knee in, and then walks around like a goof. But on purpose! There's an overly planned set up so HSN cam bulldog Misterioso on the top rope, and then HSN launches a tope on him. Form rudo/rudo to tecnico/tecnico - HSN goes right after Mascara with a dropkick, but the youngster moves out of the way. Santo backdrops him to the apron on a corner charge, but Mascara forearms him and heads up. Mascara takes far too long setting himself, and so Santo just walks far away. Oh - plancha on HSN! Santo waiting - tope on La Mascara! Jado and Negro in, Jado giving Negro some chops before corner whipping him. Corner clothesline, and Jado's pumped. Jado talking some trash before doing more. Corner whip, Jado goes into Negro's back elbow. Jado charges again, and gets a double boot. Negro off the ropes, into a Jado clothesline. Snot blow! That's gross. Chops by Jado. Taking a moment to pose. This slowed down a bit.  Negro up and fighting back. HE sneaks off the ropes, ducks under a clothesline, and dropkicks Jado out. Negro looks like he's going to dive, but doesn't even fake it. Maybe Jado walked away? Tag - Mascara and HSN, with a back elbow from HSN immediately. Whip, tilt-a-whirl backbreaker sorta takes out HSN too. He's walking around like he's Dr. Frankenstein's helper Igor, just without the hump. Whip, tilt-a-whirl, La Mascara lands on his feet, tilt-a-whirl backbreaker to HSN. Catapult for HSN. Mascara with a bodyscissors rollup, HSN blocks it and sits down and bridges back, one two NO. Guess HSN had his shoulders down there - that was dumb of him. La Mascara tries a 'rana, HSN powerbombs him and puts on a foot on the rope in a method so obvious, Baby Richard doesn't even count before noting it. Clip here? We get the crowd shot, but it's not completely clear. La Mascara with a headscissors roll into a rocking horse - and that's it. (4:19) What a way to debut! Split screen replay as Mascara wants for someone to come in and take him on.

Jado takes him up on that offer, probably wondering why La Mascara's being so dumb not to tag out. They go forehead to forehead, and La Mascara gets angry and shoves Jado. Jado shoves him down. Mascara, furious, comes up swinging - which is probably exactly what Jado wanted, as he grabs the arm and uses it to bring Mascara into the Crossface of Jado. La Mascara puts up a fight and Jado doesn't have a good hold - wow, he got to the ropes! I thought he was a goner when Jado got it in. Jado doesn't seem too bugged, stomping Mascara before he can get up. Suplex, no, Mascara lands behind, Jado misses a lame clothesline, and La Mascara hits the climb up enziguri one two NO. Meanwhile, in the background, HSN is crawling back up the aisle in a hysterically melodramatic manner. La Mascara tires a bodyscissors, but Jado easily gives him a German Suplex, and holds on - German Suplex, German Suplex (these aren't the most straight on ones, but they have quite the impact.) Crowd doesn't approve as Jado gives the thumb across the throat, and relocks on the (probably unnecessary at this point) Crossface of Jado.  Mascara is immediately done. (6:18)

Before Jado can even celebrate, Misterioso dropkicks him - sending him out. Misterioso looks as La Mascara as he rolls out, and waits for someone to come in. Ah, Santo. Santo helps La Mascara out of the ring before starting. Crowd behind Santo, for sure. Mascara off the ropes and avoiding a bunch till he takes a a monkey flip. There's the Santo headscissors, and a Santo TOPE. Everyone looks at the carnage, and then Volador and Averno realize someone ought to wrestle. Volador ends up going up and over the apron and backing up Averno with a shoulder to the gut - springboard sunset flip one two NO. Volador off the ropes, up and over sunset flip one two NO. Maybe something not a sunset flip? Volador gets in the pausing shoulderblock, springboard onto Averno's shoulders, Averno spins him around and powerbombs him. Averno's not done - Devil Wings! One two three. (7:59) Misterioso gives him a high five. Which is also a tag.

We have bodies laying all around at the moment. La Mascara is still actually on the mat, laying on the aisle side apron and being checked on by a doctor (not a good ring for three hard German suplexes) and Volador is slow to roll out as well. Misterioso taunts the crowd, which gives them a few more seconds before they have to anything. Santo quickly gets a waistlock rollup with a back bridge for two. Misterioso grabs Santo and gives him a nudo drop, which also keeps in the center of the ring - one two no. They've got a backboard for La Mascara, who's moved sitting on the ring steps but it still holding his head. Volador is out of the ring, but walking around holding his arm. Misterioso sticks in the middle of the ring, loading Santo up in a Gory Stretch - time for the neckbreaker? Santo doesn't allow it, escaping into a sunset flip one two NO. La Mascara is going to get stretched out. It looked like Volador wanted to be checked on, but there's only one doctor. Back in the match, Santo gets an up and over sunset flip one two three. (9:28) We're left with Jado & Santo vs Averno & Negro; will they tease Santo/Negro or will they do it?

Jado in, and he wants Negro. I know this because he points at him for fifteen seconds. They rush each other, and Jado gets the edge. Back suplex by Jado, one two no. Negro in a front facelock, and thumb across the throat. Brainbuster! (Sanitized.) One two no. Averno might be encouraging the Negro chants right here, which is odd. Jado gives Negro some turnbuckle smashes. Corner whip, Negro goes in chest first, Jado grabs him, back suplex, Negro slips out and lands on his feet, Jado's pushed into the corner chest first, Negro off the ropes, Jado tries a clothesline, Negro ducks under, Casas Special one two three. (11:09) Jado argues the count but that always gets three, he's just new.

Averno and Santo. Averno's oh so thrilled to be facing a silver masked guy once again. Off the ropes, over, waved by, into an armdrag by Santo. Santo waved by, back with a spinning headscissors, and Averno turns it into a face first powerbomb! Santo tries to roll out to safety, but Averno stops him, eventually pulls him out of the ropes, and there's the count - one (hitch - Richard checked the ropes aging) two NO. Negro's down on the floor - he doesn't look like he's going to tag in again here. Santo waved to the ropes, up and over - no, powerbomb, one two NO. Averno needs to do a little more, but now he just wants the count to go a little faster. Santo pulling himself in the corner and resting. Averno's distracted by the chants once again. Averno charges, Santo backdrops him to the apron, Averno gets him with a forearm, climbs up, Santo climbs with him - top rope side belly to belly suplex! Didn't see that one coming. One two three. (12:48) Well, he tried. They need the doctor to check on Averno too, so we've got a moment of rest for the crowd to get all excited for the Negro Santo match before it can happen.

Negro walks over to where Santo and Averno are - Santo's checking on Averno, and Negro's trying to ease over there without threatening Santo. Something happens, because as we look at the officials check on Averno, the crowd suddenly boos in Negro's direction and Santo flees the ring. Negro's claiming innocence and checks on Averno. There's the backboard again. Crowd seems split - there's a Negro chant, and there's some booing. Averno's loaded and taken out. This was one killer match, but in the wrong sense. Okay, Negro and Santo and LOTS of chants. The Negro/Santo chants are right on top of each other, so all they agree on is O. NEGRO overpowers SANTO early, but SANTO comes back. In the physical match, Negro tries for a takedown early but tags an armdrags. Santo uses the top rope to get a headscissors and send Negro out - plancha! Both men are slow up. Santo's in first, Negro's on the apron and Santo kicks him right in the face a couple times. That's one way to go. Negro is slow back in. Lockup - no, Negro closed fist right to the face. Negro getting angry as he works Santo over in the corner. Headbutt in there. Santo stomped down. Oh, he's setting up for the dropkick. Negro's angry at the people who are angry with him. Negro backs up, charges, corner square dropkick doesn't connect nearly as fully as other ones have. Negro pulls Santo out of the corner, drops an elbow one two NO.  la Majistral - no, Santo slips out, hooks the legs, and then the arms - tapatia! Santo pulls it all the way back, so that they're both pinned one two THREE. (17:28) Well now what? Neither one kicked out at all, and Santos' a little slow on the uptake to find out he lost. Baby Richard goes explain the situation to the ring announcer, and they talk to Scorpio, current commissioner. Ring announcer makes the explanation - we've got to have a winner, so these two will go to one more fall.

Negro immediately shoulderblocks Santo. Off the ropes, waved by, and Santo hamstring kicks him into the ropes the second pass. Negro flops onto his stomach, and Santo immediately puts him in the camel clutch - that's that. (:13) That was one short fall. Negro lays on the mat, defeated, but Santo pulls him up and they hug. Shake. Break.

Replays of the win and the dive. Break.

Match 4: Universo 2000 (c), Ultimo Guerrero, Rey Bucanero vs Perro Aguayo Jr. (c), Hector Garza, Terrible
Arena Mexico, 10/28/05

  1. Universo
  2. Universo

Winner: Universo (2-1)
Match Time: 9:23
Approx Rating: Just okay. Your usual brawl with no finish.
Other Match Notes:
The rowdy tecnico fans try doing the air horns to We Will Rock You, but it's tough and they give. Perro rush out from behind Universo's team to attack them on the steps, and we're off quick. What the heck is Terrible wearing?  Some sorta of wacky shredded shirt. Not a PdM one.

So, this is beatdown, and a pretty vicious one at first. Perros are looking to destroy. They bring it to the ring pretty quick, with Universo and Ultimo being worked over. Rey tries to come in and help out, but he's stopped as soon as he sets foot in the ring. Hector taunts Rey, and Rey wants a piece of him, but he's taken down to is knees so Hector can kick him way. Ultimo charges at Terrible, but Terrible catches him and slams him. Terrible up top - top rope splash. Perro stomps at Universo to keep him from coming in. Ultimo thrown out, Universo whipped into a Terrible spinebuster. Terrible sets up the slingshot, Hector heel kicks him over Terrible's knees - a different way of doing it, but Rey's left in the same position as people who take his senton. Instead, Perro adds the middle rope double stomp. Universo in, he doesn't get for. Double backdrop by Perro and Terrible, Perro lifts Universo up by his legs (which looks quite strained) for Garza and Terrible to do something with, but before it happen, they get yanked out of the ring by Rey and Ultimo! Universo escapes and gets in a shot on Perro, rolling him up while everyone else is fighting. One two three. (3:09)  Beatdown, and a comeback in the first fall - this quite the rudo/rudo match. Perros recover and lay out the team who won the fall, not that it helps right then.

Perro attack goes right onto fall two and a big plug for SKY. Ultimo's in and gets a questionably low kick. Rey rushed the ring to help his partner, and ends up rolling around and fighting Perro some. Hector breaks that up and wanders out for the ring for some crazy swinging. Terrible kicks Ultimo out of the ring, but that just allow shim to to rush Perro while he's standing there, and they end up brawling on the floor. Hector has to run out and save Perro again. Terrible a bit late, by the work together to whip Ultimo in the post. Perro waits for Hector before doing anything else. Terrible comes in and gets s hold of Universo for the other two to kick around. Perro does is work form the apron, but Ultimo gets a hold of him by the heels to prevent him form coming in. While Hector is fixing that again, Terrible boots Universo out of the ring. Hector begins in Ultimo so he can be worked over, but Perro doesn't seem to interested - rather be threatening to the fans, I guess.   He does show up back in time to chop Ultimo a bit. Hector flips Ultimo over on a dropkick, and the other two leave him in alone.  with Ultimo. Rey wants into help, but both refs cut him off. Hector stands a safe distance away and taunts. Ultimo gets to his feet, but Hector's knocking him around. Rey switches tactics, and leads a GUERRERO! chant for Ultimo. Ultimo's a bit surprised and temporarily energized, but Perro gets in a shot form the outside to slow him down. Corner whip, Hector splashes into Ultimo's boots! Hector out agilest Ultimo, but Ultimo takes his head off with a clothesline, so guess who wins that? Ultimo rallies the crowd.  - they're not totally behind him, but that's the idea. Hector off the ropes, rolling under Ultimo's leapfrog but colliding into Universo's knee. With Rey standing behind him on the apron, Ultimo gives Hector a spinebuster and a catapult, sending Hector to the ropes. Rey slingshots, grabbing Hector's head and turning it into a reverse neckbreaker over Ultimo's knees! That's neat. Universo runs interference while Rey runs to to the corner - Bucanero Castigo! Universo leaves the ring to chase Perro, I suppose, while Rey and Ultimo toss Terrible around by his hair. Universo comes back in to observer. Corner whip, Universo dropkick Ultimo clothesline, Bucanero scoops him up and drops him - I think that was an attempt a split legged double kneebreaker, but I'm not sure because I've never seen something quite like that before. Terrible rolls out, grabbing both knees, so Universo decides to go attack Perro. Rey wanders out to the ramp, where Hector is, and works him over some too. Ultimo helps out Universo, slamming him on the apron. Now Terrible is up and attacking him. Universo pushes him off the ramp, getting rid of him, and then grabs Perro's legs to do the GdI sit. Ultimo's set up, but he's waiting for Rey to be done with Hector. In the meantime, Terrible recovers and pulls Universo off the apron. Ultimo's unaware that Perro's free, and even less aware that some vendor just threw his wood box for holding stuff to Perro. Rey still charges, Ultimo still tosses him up, and Perro brains him with the wood box. Wait, that's Damian jumping on the ramp to hit Ultimo with a tray! (Looking back, he also helped Terrible pull Universo to the floor.) Guess that must mean it was Halloween playing the part of some vendor. He's working Rey over with the big blue stairs as everyone else brings Ultimo into the ring to work him over. The fall is called quick (DQ 6:14) but the vendor box s broken over Ultimo's head. - the Perros have lost in two falls, but their opponents are all laid out. They bring Universo and the steps. Universo laid out over them, and Perro goes up - double stomp to the midsection! The ring is a mess, and FdT look odd without their makeup. Halloween figures he can take off his (Sopranos) shirt anyway. Perro talks trash to Universo, and Universo recovers enough to take him down, but it's five on one. Perro goes crazy and almost stomps a photographer before he's directed to the right man. Halloween adds a low blow dropkick. Rey tries to pull out the FdT guys, so, he's eventually whipped into the seats. Ultimo tries to make a comeback, and he's beat up again. The Perros grab Ultimo's mask and crotch Rey on the ring post to finally stop them, and Perro walks around with Ultimo's mask. Break.

Next Week: Mistico, Atlantis, Ultimo Dragon, Halloween, Damian, Ultimo Guerrero, Hijo del Perro Aguayo, Universo 2000, Hijo de Pierroth, Pierroth, Gedo, Maximo, and much more. Replays and we're out.
