11/11: Mexico, IWRG, GdR

CMLL (FRI) 11/10 Arena Mexico Results [galeno del mal, ovaciones]
1) Mini Olimpico, Ultimo Dragoncito b Mini Violencia, Pierrothito
2) Dark Angel, Lady Apache, Marcela b Amapola, Hiroka, Princesa Sujei
3) Averno, Mephisto, Misterioso II b Lizmark Jr., Negro Casas, Ultimo Dragon
4) Rey Bucanero, Shocker, Universo 2000 DRAW Hirooki Goto, Kenzo Suzuki, Marco Corleone
5) Dos Caras Jr., Dr. Wagner Jr., Volador Jr. b Atlantis, Tarzan Boy, Ultimo Guerrero

Fourth match went “DQ for foul, DQ for foul, both sides DQed for fouls, everyone challenge everyone else to a hair match, no one agree.” Maybe we’re headed to a multi-man match with Kenzo losing? I’m not too thrilled to think about it.

The challenge for a shot at team titles after pinning the champion actually came in the tercera: ‘ccording to Ovaciones, Averno & Mephisto requested a shot at the tag team titles once again. It’d be about time. The Doc’s team won clean, Dos pinning Atlantis with a German suplex before shennanigns could take place, but no title challenge was noted there.

IWRG (THU) 11/09 Arena Naucalpan Results [space demon]
1) Turako b Golem
2) Kid Tiger, Rey de Corazones b Black Stell, Black Stone
3) Black Terry, Black Thunder, Fantasma de la Opera b Astro Boy, Ave Fenix, Turbo
4) Bacteria, Fabian el Gitano, Freelance DQ Black Jaguar, Comando Mega, Pierroth II
5) Cerebro Negro, Dr. Cerebro, Dr. Wagner Jr. b Alex Koslov, Mascara Ano 2000 Jr., Veneno

Fantasma de la Opera ran in the fourth match and attacked Bacteria, so they may be doing a feud. And they’re still working a Freelance/Black Jaugar feud.

Guerreros del Ring has
11/02 Mexico: Mascara Purpura, Stuka Jr., Virus b Arkangel, Loco Max, Nitro
11/04 Coiliseo: Damian 666, Halloween, Terrible b Hijo de Lizmark, Ogun, Volador Jr.
“Ultraman 2000” unmasked – I bet it’s going to turn out to be Damian.

AAA on Gala is the scheduled episode

10/12/06
Angel Mortal, Apache, Gallego, Mr. Condor b Braba Roja, Brazo de Plata Jr., Drake, Pirata Morgan Jr.
La Diabolica, Rossy Moreno, Tiffany b Cinthia Moreno, Estrellita, Fabi Apache
Cuervo, Ozz, Scoria b Crazy Boy, Joe Lider, Juventud Guerrera
Abismo Negro, Antifaz, Charly Manson, Histeria b Elegido, Gronda, Laredo Kid, Zorro
Alan Stone, Scorpio Jr., Zumbido b Intocable, La Parka Jr., Super Porky [cage]

I’m going to hold of the luchawiki move a while longer, till I get a longer stretch of free time – freeze won’t happen till much later this afternoon, so feel free to keep make changes.

  1. Nice looking GdR show. At 15 minutes+, the Stuka/Virus match surely won’t disappoint….

Cards next week look pretty promising, the sunday show especially looking good. Looks like it’s Felino V Averno unless they go with a rudo-v-rudo.

The only downside is the Arena Mex tercera looks great, but probably won’t air at the expense of the (comparably) shitty segunda.

  2. As expected CMLL TV has women, the Arena Mexico semi-main and main. I fully expect neither of the top 2 matches to start until 5pm my time. It’s 4:13pm right now so let’s see how they deal with the problem of the women’s match only being one fall so they can’t take a commercial between falls.

Volador Jr. has a cool new mask but I think he was wearing suspenders during his match.:/ Rudos came out with their titles! *gasp*

  3. “Volador Jr. has a cool new mask”

but does it still look like he ran throught a party supply store with super glue on his mask.

and was zorro’s mask glowing diring the trios match.

  4. I liked the Arena Mex main event. Seeing Volador Jr. and Ultimo Guerrero work together so fluidly is such a treat. I hope they squeeze in a singles match between the two at some point during the Arena Coliseo shows this winter.

  5. “I hope they squeeze in a singles match between the two at some point during the Arena Coliseo shows this winter.”

Yeah – and i want Volador/Averno too after that lightning match a couple of years a back when they were undercarders that i’m still pissed never aired!

  6. This week in the first 50 minutes of TV, CMLL managed to show a one fall women’s match that didn’t go 10 minutes. Meanwhile thus far AAA in the first 57 minutes has shown a TV intro, a promo by Mini Abismo, a good mini’s match that was 3 falls and a six man tag that went one fall. BOTH matches went longer than the women’s match of course.
