This Sunday’s card is short a match. Niebla challenged Atlantis to a NWA LH title match, so I think that’s the new main event. Eh.

FWIW, CMLL.com randomlly notes that Volador Jr. is the #1 Contender to the CMLL Super Light Title in it’s preview of Friday’s main event.

El Porvenir has a NOTIMEX article with quotes from the 12 Man In A Cage Mask Match. They plan is for everyone to stay inside for seven minutes. Felino pointed it out’s everyone for themselves in this type of match. Sangre called out Sagrado and Pantera, which caused Pantera, Sagrado, and La Mascara to vow to end the Guerreros. Nitro told all the tecnicos to sleep good and prepare hard, because they’re going to need it.

El Manana has a review of a show this past Sunday, ripping the main event (Santo/El Brazo vs Shocker/Coliseo 2000.) It sounds like Brazo, doing his Latin Boiler (Latin Lover parody) gimmick, stripped down to very little in front of an audience of woman and children, and the author was completely appalled and demanding Brazo retire immediatly. (Good luck on that one.) Her also thought the general level of work in the match, Santo included, was much lesser than earlier local matches. The Chessman/Zar Rojo vs Corazon de Barrio/Estrella Dorado semimain was much better.

The Washingston Post has a story on Tijuana lucha shows.

Super Lucha #169 goes with a big picture of TNA’s Christy Hemme and Tracy Brooks. Scroll down to see the headline for the ECW section.

Nacho Libre made another $3 mil this weekend, pushing it’s total to $72 million over 4 weeks. It’s dropping out of theatres at this point, so probably not too much more for it.

I didn’t say anything last week, because really I wasn’t doing much myself, but today el Halcon (so far) missed a second straight edition and I’m worried. Anyone know what’s up?

Lineups are below. No AAA TV Taping this week, but they’re running noteable shows with indy promotions Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
