GdR #24, GdR #25, CMLL #206

Neither 05/06 GdR and 05/13 GdR were that intersting to talk about from a match quality level, I thought, but the Park turn at the Kids Day show was interesting to watch. I didn’t really get into anything on the 05/13 show, but the Mephisto/Mistico match should be interesting to watch.

02/18 GALA was quite entertaining. The Perro/Hector hair match was as good as that match could be, and the crowd was nuts for the relevos incredible match. Atlantis was a rudo by the end of the first fall in that one, so I guess we didn’t miss much.

Magazines:
Super Luchas 161 is all over the CMLL show.
– Box Y Lucha has last week’s cover, and poster.
Luchas 2000 has a special edition on Rey Misterio Jr.

Lineup notes
– Today’s Puebla show has the Guerreros taking on the Perros – and Dr. Wagner.
– AAA has three shows listed as TV tapings this week – and all have the same main event. A lot of the same matches too. I don’t get it. The Monday taping has a Mexican Tag championship match, the Thursday taping has a Pimpi/Cassandro match which may be a hair match, and the Saturady show doesn’t have anything special.
– Mocho Cota, Sangre Chicana and La Fiera are teaming together as Los Guerreros
– there’s a building called “Arena King Kong”
– Vampiro Americano is scheduled for the a Sunday Villalobos day. Long day for JBL!
