CMLL Current Championship Lengths

It’s hard to explain how my mind got here, but I was wondering how long various CMLL and CMLL visible championships have been held without a change. Longer than I thought – there goes my plans for a “Ultimo has held the belt for 1000 days!” celebration.

(I’ll leave it as an exercise to the reader recalling who’s champion for each title.)

Edit: Let’s add defenses too.

Gala TV note

Gala’s airing the scheduled episode.

Sadly, no one else wanted to drive 12 hours round trip to Michigan indy/lucha show. If you’re going, let the rest of the world know what you thought of the show.

I was thinking about going to the NWA Midwest show (a little of a roundtrip – 1 hour), but I think I’ve got other plans. If you’re going to that one, ask Acid Jazz if he had any idea what was going on during the lucha show.

05/06: Mexico results, GdR lineup

The main event of last night’s Arena Mexico saw Black Warrior cleanly beat Mistico in the third and deciding fall. With that outcome, Warrior challenged Mistico to another NWA Middleweight Championship match, and it appears to be accepted for next week. That card is shaping up to be a very interesting one.

In the semifinal, the Perros did get some measure of revenge from last week, winning the match when Damian low blowed Rey Bucanero without the refs seeing it, and Perro scooped up the pin. Angered, Rey challenged Perro to a hair match. He, of course, did not accept, but that appears to be the new direction for this rivalary.
