GdR #6 (for real this time)

Didn’t air, but should’ve on 12/31/05

Atlantis/Mistico was good…BUT I see the warnings about Atlantis’ limited offense here. It’s fine in trios matches, but it stuck out here. Really, this should’ve been the short match and the Ultimo match should’ve been the long one, but it didn’t quite work out that way. The finish was kinda weak in comparison (and we’re comparing it to a finish a lot of people didn’t get at first.)

Worth seeking out, though I don’t think it’ll crack my list. (I haven’t DONE this list, so what do I know.)

I STILL need to see the Guadalajara DVD I’ve got, and then see what other TV I feel like checking out before the deadline.

02/16 Lucha Wiki Update

This week’s featured profile: Lemus

All of the profiles should now include Lucha de Apuesta records; I put up the last few earlier this afternoon. There’s newer hair/mask matches which aren’t included, so we’ll be added those on as we get to it.

Otherwise, some minor corrections and a couple new categories.

Any other awards worth adding? I’ve inserted WON HOF mentions where appropiate, but might change those and that’s not actually what I really mean. Is there a list of Box Y Lucha Wrestler (or whatever else) Of The Year for every year someplace? That’d be neat.

I may freeze the wiki for an hour or so in the next couple of days for a small upgrade. I’ll leave a note here if/when I do.

Title match was very good, main event not so much.

Ovaciones also has a preview of Saturday’s AAA show, talking with Scorpio Jr. about his jump. Pena and Shocker inveted him, but many didn’t want to see him come – because they he was going to beat them and take their hairs. In the Guapo VIP strutcure, he’s ahead of Zumbido and Alan – who’s match with Intocable has no stipulations that this article feels worth mentioning.
