AAA - 03/26/05

Interview: with Antonio Pena at the airport. They're waiting for the NOAH guys to show up - and there they are. Tigre Imperial is wearing his mask in the airport, how odd. Handshakes for everyone.

Match 1: Los Diabolicos (Mr. Condor, Angel Mortal, Gallego) vs Barrio Boys (Billy Boy, Alan, Decnnis)
Plaza de Toros de Chilpancingo, 12/18/04

Winner: Tecnicos - Decnnis electric chair suplex Condor
Match Time: 9:35

Notes: All matches in a four sided ring. Even mat sequence, into a sequental beatdown beatdown, till skateboard violence goes horrible wrong for the rudos. Tecnicos take turns getting the best of the rudos with dives or pins worked in. Showing scary fascination strong with the formula but okay.

Match 2: Chessman, Tiffany, Polvo de Estralla, Mini Abismo Negro vs Gran Apache, Fabi Apache, May Flowers, Mini Mascara Sagrada
Plaza de Toros de Chilpancingo, 12/18/04

Winner: Tecnicos - Gran Apache sit down powerbomb Tiffany
Match Time: 6:23

Other Match Notes: All intermixing. It's probably not a coincidence that they had non-wrestler people from Japan here (at least a photographer) and everyone is working exceptionally hard. Match is going along fine until Chessman ends up in with Fabi, and kills her with a chop. They show a replay and clip all in one, and she's hurt her shoulder when we're back live - she was supposed to reverse a Chessman top rope move into a top rope sunset flip, but can only do it one armed and is in pain just covering for the pin.  Tiffany breaks it up, and Fabi rolls out to be tended to by the doctor. Things break down from there, with El Apache toping Chessman and slapping Tiffany, and Mascarita tangling Mini Abismo up for a submission - but normal sized Abismo Negro scares him off with the hairspray can of fire. May Flowers tries to get involved and gets in the face before Gran Apache dropkicks Apolo out. Polve actually appears to be checking on her opponent as Mascarita leaps out with a headscissors for his mini opponent. Fabi (now a lot better) comes back in jut in time for a double team on Tiffany with her father to go wrong, but they get it back together, Fabi adding a German Suplex just before the finish.

Match 3: Los Vatos Locos (Picudo (c), Silver Cat, Espiritu and one more) vs Kumbia Kids (Jhonny (c), Tommy, Jessy, Jimmy and one more)
Plaza de Toros de Chilpancingo, 12/18/04

Winner: Kumbia Kida - everyone cover one Loco (Picudo?) after a Abismo Negro flame to the eye
Match Time: 11:19

Other Match Notes: They don't bother listing all the names for the rudos and only list the captain for the rudos. KrisZ results list this as a trios match, which it may end up being, but there are a lot of extra guys standing on the apron in that case. Didn't pay as much attention to this match, figuring out who was involved instead - thanks, as usual, to KrisZ. All nine guys, and especially the five Kumbia Kida, have to have their own sequence to look good, and this feels like it goes forever. Abismo Negro does the same thing he did last match, and this time it works better.

Match 4: Juventud Guerrera & Mr. Aguila vs Marafuji and KENTA in a GHC Junior Tag Team Championship match
Plaza de Toros de Chilpancingo, 12/18/04

Winner: Champions - CO Juvi/Aguila
Match Time: no more than 7:54

Other Match Notes: Juvi is celebrating the holiday season with a Santa hat. Even though Juvi and Aguila are part of evil evil EVIL LLL, they're Mexican and tecnicos here. The point where it all goes wrong feels pretty early on, as Aguila jumping spin kick to a guy on the apron is ducked, Aguila falling out of the ring because of momentum and landing just outside of our view. He's grabbing his left leg and rolling around, and there's an abrupt break. Tape actually picks up two seconds before we left, and Juvi and the referee stop the fighting to Aguila can be checked on. Replay of the injury - we've got a fine camera angle for seeing the move, but a tie Royal Rumble situation when it comes to seeing the landing. They get the stretcher for Aguila as the referee finally gets to counting out Juvi, who's watching and trying to help. Antonio Pena wanders out as Aguila is stretchered out and also adds little. At some point, everyone's wandered away and the NOAH guys just sorta declare themselves victorious. Aguila was hurt at 5:16, they celebrated at 7:54, I'm pretty sure the ref did the countout sometime before then but we never saw the end of it, so who knows. Aguila is put in an ambulance, Juvi rides with him, and they're leaving.

Match 5: Charly Manson, Abismo Negro, Cibernetico (c) vs Electroshock, Tiger Imperial, La Parka Jr. (c)
Plaza de Toros de Chilpancingo, 12/18/04

Winner: Tecnicos by DQ
Match Time: 8:58

Notes: LLL sets an AAA flag on fire for fun pre-match. 6:40 in, Los Vipers and Juvi show up to beat up the tecnicos outside the ring, which is good enough for no DQ. A minute later, the AAA forces are out, with one of Vatos Locos setting the LLL flag on fire. Match goes on, with Abismo playing with his fire can some. Stomping a chair into Parka's face, okay. Vato Loco spitting fire (flame + alcohol) is okay, even twice. Oh wait, now I get it - all the stuff before was a DQ, but the ref couldn't get to Parka to raise his arm to end. Right.
