11/14 Arena Mexico will be a festival for Atlantis, in celebration of his 20th year of wrestling. (La Arena has his debut as 06/12/83.)
In the main event, Atlantis will defend his Michinoku Pro Light Heavyweight Title against the winner of a four-way match (or maybe it’s a mini-tournament) this week’s Arena Mexico Card:
– Winner Faces Atlantis: Perro Aguayo Jr. vs Ultimo Guerrero vs Rey Bucnaero vs Dr. Wagner Jr.
(Off the top of my head, this is probably the first Rey vs Ultimo match, but I’m expecting someone to point out something I missed. Maybe the biggest? Weird how we’ve got three nominal rudos and one guy that wasn’t getting cheered. Gotta figure Wagner – it’s the obvious match.)
– Giant Silva/Pierroth/Terrible vs Universo2K/Apolo/Mascara2K/Violencia
(They try to explain why Silva is on that side but I’m still confused. Silva is working face in Arena Coliseo two days laster)
– Blue Panther/Felino/Angel Azteca vs Averno/Mephisto/Arkangel
– Havana Brothers vs Virus/Volador Jr./Super Crazy
– Starman/Sicodelico Jr. vs Loco Max/Dr. X
The only other .com news bites are that there will be a big show at the end of the year (which we figured) and Virus wants a shot at the CMLL LH Title (which we already heard.)
