Vignette: Signo solicits the Capos - particularly Apolo and the guy with the cane - to take out Villano III. I think they agree, as long as he helps them with their fights against Silva, Perro and Lizmark Jr. Lizmark Jr.?

Signo out Lizmark out |
|
Notes: Well, there he is anyway. I get confused and wonder why Villano III has his mask back at first, then I realize the size difference and figure things out. Mixed brawl to start - no one side gets advantage. We never get a "first fall" graphic, which makes me confused. Apparently, it's over the top rope elimination rules, I have no idea why. The tencicos get the 2 on 1, that's surprising. (2:12 - Lizmark) Down to Universo and IV, but all the sudden the referee stops it - is this like the last two left have to be tag partners or meet in a singles match later or something? I'm vastly confused.
Looking at the arena results, I think this was a battle royal to determine seeding for a 4 team mini tournament later on that evening - Lizmark and Signo going out meant their teams would have to fight first (which is what we get next), and then Universo and Villanos team. There's no record of this match happening on the results I'm looking at, but it would explain things.
We actually saw this all the way back (or ahead) on #2.

Notes: This is one fall because someone's wrestling 2 (and almost 3) tonight, I'd guess. This was also on #2 - my play by play seemed okay, I just had no idea what was going on. Not much to talk about here - Lizmark does get in his Spinaroonie. Tinieblas gets paid for 2 minutes of work, must be nice.

| 1 | parajes | 5:13 | Universo 2K DQ (low blow on IV) | |
Notes: I didn't get to see this one before, but I'm guessing we just might see the Villanos move on. Actually, if the Capos and Signo really have a deal, do they lay down here so Signo can get his hands on III or do they try to beat him up first? Looks like they try to beat him up first - before they even get to the ring. IV gets posted. III is kept in the ring a long while - then they throw him out. It's hard to get use to lucha style - you expect them to work over one guy till the other make the tag, but here they beat up everyone until someone can stop them (or they screw themselves up.) Going for IV's mask now - maybe they don't want to win and just want the beatdown. They've got it untied but III is into stop them before they get it off. Universo gets posted. Signo uses a small trash can on Mascara before posting him. Hey, if they all get counted out, does Apolo and Signo win? Guess it doesn't matter because IV and Mascara are in now. Good sequence there, and now it's III and Universo, again the tecnico dominates, with Universo taking the monkey flip the floor. IV outsmarts Mascara and gets the abdominal on, but Universo ducks a III cross body and breaks it up - he must've hit a low blow there, because the ref raises IV's hand. They won, but they're dead and they're still getting beat up.
So of course, while these beatdown is going on, Apolo and Signo wander out, thank Universo and Mascara for a job well done, and continue the beatdown.

V3 rollup
Signo Apolo reversed 'rana on V4 Apolo reversed sunset flip V3 |
|
Notes: V III is beating beat on the outside - IV is in the inside and hasn't moved an inch since that low blow, somewhat because his mask got taken away in the progress. Apolo and Signo bring III back in to beatdown. He's still fighting back but the numbers are really too much. I kinda wonder why they don't just go cover V IV, but he' soon lead away to go get a new mask, one would assume. Lots of holding while the other guy punches for III. Beatdown feels like it goes forever, Apolo and Signo put a double cross arm breaker, and Villano IV run in with a cookie sheet. Shots for everyone and I'm glad I didn't pay attention to this match - wait, no DQ? Then I'm really glad. They keep on fighting so I guess the match must go on. Happenstance (in the form of a missed missile dropkick) leads to V3 rolling up Signo (5:30). At almost the same time V4 goes for a 'rana on Apolo, but Apolo rolls though for his own 3 count (5:32) and now we have 2. Apolo looks at the mess, thinks for a second that they've won, than gets to work. V3 is slow realizing his guy didn't win, gets punched, but reverses into a small package for a slow 2 count. Apolo up with a slap, corner whip, charge in, but no one's home. Another small package one two no again. These are deliberate counts. Apolo with a whip, spinebuster pick up but V3 goes down the back for a sunset flip one two well IV is back in, pointing at Signo (off camera) and the referee stops to tell Signo to step back. I think he would've go the three - anyway, the referee turns to argue with Villano IV, allowing Signo to sneak all the way in and turn the sunset flip over, then grab Apolo's hands for leverage. one two three. (6:47) That's an interesting how they had Apolo get the pinfall over V3 instead of the other way - but I guess it does push off the confrontation for down the road and you get more heat on Signo for cheating than you do for Apolo just being there to be helped. And the memory of V3 getting his pin might be quickly flushed away? That's the tough part.
Vignette: Porky is late for a lunch meeting with Rayo De Jalisco Jr. Jr. He wants to get revenge on the Guapos for the time they knocked him into the fountain. But wasn't Shocker with them? Hmm. Anyway, Rayo III is agreeable - he'll help him take on the Feos. Porky starts singing his own music and dancing and it's best we got away from that in time.

Notes: If you just focus on the valet Porky dances with, you can learn to appreciate the dancing. Guapos ambush Porky to start the match. Rayo II takes forever to get to the ring and I think we have a a weird 3 vs 2 to begin with. But with Porky and Rayo II, I can safely blow this off. Porky got a pin after Rayo II's in the first fall, but it doesn't really count. Why do they count the pinfalls when they don't matter? I never know. To make up for it, they gave Rayo a low blow and pinned him after Porky in the second fall, I guess.
Spectacular Moments - Hey, it's Chris Stone taking a springboard overhead headscissors. I'm flaunting my knowledge of Chris Stone's name while covering my ignorance about the other person's name. Nice Watch Veneno fly! I wonder why he stopped wearing that outfit. Fiera 'ranas Markus, making him a better man than I. Shocker is not sneaky, but rather effective, with a low blow punch on Niebla. Rey with the face first crucifix powerbomb that doesn't suck - who knew? Whoa, I think the sell of that Tony Rivera tope (by Violenica?) was even better than tope itself.
Vignette: Shocker goes to his beauty parlor (with his girl), to look good so he can wrestle good. Also, thank the guy for doing the job with the Feo's hair. Here's shots of Shocker taking off his clothes for no good reason. And now he's dancing. Moving on, a back massage. He's got "1000% Guapo" on his boxer shorts. That's all I got out of this.

Notes: Shocker, who's still entering to Rock DJ, gives the camera a "aren't I so unbelievable cool in my glasses and black overcoat?" look and you know, the man has a point. The beatdown starts right after the last introduction - no time wasted here. Satanico goes to all fours so Black Warrior and Shocker can hit the assisted high clothesline on Niebla. Shocker special on Black Tiger. That seemed to be an illegal low blow headbutt on Tiger by Warrior, but they ruled abdomen. Atlantis gets a springboard elbow drop buy Shocker, then Warrior gives him a dropkick to the face. We're watching this very far away, and I think Satanico's putting on a half Boston/Armbar to finish this fall off. We get much better shots on the replays - actually, it looks it was Niebla taking all of that now, which probably gives you a good idea of how far away we must've been (and how bad the color is on this TV screen.) Atlantis met his demise seconds later.
Warrior and Tiger start Fall 2, but Shocker is quickly in to help. Both Shocker and Satanico put on armbars as so Warrior can kick Tiger. Warrior taunts the tecnico corner, to get the refs to go yell at them, then work on that double teaming a little more. Tiger gets slammed in position for a Shocker slingshot senton and Warrior rope flip moonsault. Satanico in with a knee. Right. Teasing a tag but pulling Tiger away in time. Shocker snaps his neck over the top rope from the apron. Satanico synchs in an armbar, and Niebla wants in again - Shocker is over take him, with a right. Tiger out, but Niebla missing a corner charges and that never turns out good. Warrior takes the tilt-a-whirl from Atlantis. Figures around and we get picture in pituitary on Shocker standing around outside a bunch. I don't know why - I think it's one of those times they have a feature and they use it just because they have it. Tiger is now taking care Satanico in the ring as the brawl has settled back into a match. - there's the second rope snap moonsault one two know. Knee to the had, tag out to Atlantis, Satanico retreats out so Warrior is in. They both mess with the crowd then Warrior ambushes Atlantis with a clothesline. And now he's "pulling the rope". That's not a euphemism, that's just the motion he's making. Oops, he missed corner splash, that never works out well. Atlantis with a monkey flip, but Warrior comes back with the dropkick to the knee. Chop as we see a replay of that move. Atlantis has taken over since then, and is leaving back for Mexican Surfboard (3:48) - Niebla jumps over to take out Satanico with a crossbody, and put on a cobra clutch (3:51). Tiger yanks Shocker's leg over his body, then beats him up a little bit on the floor.
Third fall starts with Shocker going to the second turnbuckle to pose, but slipping and crotching himself. That's always a winning move. Shocker decides he's had enough and he's going home. He's taunted by the kids in the first row and this replay. Satanico convinces not to listen to the little kids and come back. And then he punches Niebla hard! That's a good way to do it. No, don't turn your back on Niebla! Oh Shocker. Anyway, Niebla brings him back in with a hiptoss, off the ropes, into a big boot. Chop, Corner whip, Shocker charges in and gets a boot, Niebla charges out into a monkey flip but lands on his feet. Shocker misses a clothesline, Niebla flips him with a shoulderblock. Shocker rolls out save himself. Atlantis in, and Satanico comes in for his side - big boot to take him down. Right, no he's pushed away, then armdrag. Satanico with a right, right no Atlantis reveres to an armdrag, armdrag reversal by Atlantis. Tilt-a-whirl and Satanico stumble for a tag. Niebla back in and Shocker nails him with a flying forearm. Pose. Right. Corner whip, reversed, Niebla charges into a boot, Shocker rolls out but no one's there for his aback elbow - Niebla shows him how to do it right. Now Atlantis is into to tilt-a-whirl him. Little communication problem as Black Tiger wants to do his thing - now he gets a double jump quebrada! One two Satanico's gotta break it up. Right right, whip, dropkick to the knee, Warrior with the dropkick to the head. Atlantis tries dropkick on Warrior but he side steps and chops. Niebla in and hitting the handspring on Satanico to knock him out. Now Shocker's back up and the rudos have control of the situation, whipping Niebla and Tiger into each other. Whip on Tiger, Niebla flips him to the apron, Warrior charges Niebla, Niebla ducks and Warrior headbutts him. Niebla covers, Shocker elbow drops, Niebla moves and Warrior gets it. Tiger slingshots in on his feet, off the ropes, assisted high dropkick. Niebla to the top rope - ASAI MOONSAULT TO THE FLOOR! In the ring, Warrior's reverse a whip - high facebuster! I guess that's what they're always going for when that high dropkick gets hit on them. SUICIDE TOPE ON NIEBLA! TIGER SPRINGBOARD PLANCHA. Captains left in - Satanico knocks down Atlantis, but runs into the tilt-a-whirl. Satanico gets up and pushes Atlantis away, into the referee and the corner. The referee does not go down, but Satanico aims and kicks - and while Atlantis sets up out of the way of the low blow kick, the referee does not. That's an immediate DQ. (4:16) Satanico can't believe it.
After the match, Satanico claims Atlantis tricked him and should be the one DQed. These two sides are almost ready to start it up but the referee prevents it.
Next Week: Black Tiger, Satanico, Dr. Wagner, Lizmark, Blue Panther, Olimpico, Shocker, Ultimo Guerrero, Emilio Charles, Averno, Rey Buccnaero, Scorpio, Bestia, Fuerza and much more. Though probably not that much more.
