* EA Amortizes The NFL Exclusive License Cost ’08 NFL Tour ’08 (The W at Amazon) stats The hype around the demo didn’t disappoint: this game sucks to an amazing degree. 1UP: “NFL Tour is shockingly inorganic, severely underdeveloped, and thoroughly limited.” Yours for only $40! I can’t believe they took out Gamebreakers – not just because it’s dumb, but because that check card commercial has me nostalgic for them. Do you think they were rushing the game to make Christmas, missed, and put out a rushed game anyway, or did they realize this was going to blow and saved it for this stretch of weeks where there were no alternatives?

in the store

Downloadble Game:
Super Stardust HD {$10} – an upgraded version of the previously released game. Nicely/wisely, those who bought the original version get patched up to the new version. There’s also a free demo, which I may get around to downloading and writing a book report for you next week.

Add On Contact:

– Folklore: 2 add on packs with 4 sidequests, 1 extra folk and 1 extra costume. They’re each $4, but why not buy both for $6?

– Rock Band: “Number of the Beast” by Iron Maiden, “Interstate Love Song” by Stone Temple Pilots, “Die, All Right!” by the Hives, each $2. No combo pack listed.

– Need For Speed: Unlock the McLaren F1 or NFS: Bugatti Veyron 16.4 without using career mode for $3 each.

Demo (besides the Startdust one)

– Kane & Lynch: Dead Men – “the highly controversial crime action game”, though not how they figured, I bet. What’s with putting out the demo a couple months after the game?

PS One Classics

– Crash Bandicoot 2 {$6} – also available on the PC store.

– Burnout Paradise – Guns N’ Roses trailer

Movie/Blue Ray Trailer

– Spiderwick Chronicles (Trailer #2)
