It took me now to realize the new ECW taping format means Heat is getting two straight weeks of clip shows everytime they do a SuperShow. I hope someone gets an itch to be a bit more creative; even if DX/McMahon was a hot feud, they did little more than roll out the clips and hope they did the work. It was far from the hard sell for the PPV I was expecting.
I’m writing this before I hear about the Trish match, so I don’t know that’ll factor into everything, but since they have an hour to fill and a retiring star, I hope they connect the dots.
It wouldn’t be that hard…
Segment 1: Clip from the debut (on HEAT!), early footage, bio stuff lifted from her video
Segment 2: first title win, outside media appearances
Segment 3: Trish vs Victoria in a hardcore match (the one they had considered the best from the run), as complete as possible. They could go with one of the WM three ways here too.
Segment 4: clips from the finish on Sunday, plus anything going down on Monday (a goodbye?), and a highlight package to finish it off.
