I am SO tired and this game seems like a million billion days ago right now.
This was a momentum killer. The Cubs really could’ve/should’ve swept this series; the Astros only got 2 earned runs the whole way. As usual, particularlly with the Astros, the Cubs find a way to look horrid against a medicore pitcher.
Marshall pitched fine, but the Astros visibly have as many hitting problems as the the Cubs right now, so everything has to be taken with a grain of salt. I don’t feel like looking back at it now, but it seems like he’s had a slightly soft schedule – but he’s a rookie, so they should be doing that.
Plz don’t let Arroyo hit another HR. Thanks.
