At least it wasn’t extra innings? At least it wasn’t past midnight, though it was still a long game.

Got to score more than 3 and can’t give up 6. Revolutionary thoughts, I know. The hitting was marginally better, but died off after the first few innings.

You know, I’m not the broadcasting experts, but to me, the last thing I think you want to show depressed Cubs fans after yet another loss is the White Sox winning. Not only is it rubbing it in, but no one watching a Cubs game is dying for White Sox highlights. It’s a fundamental lack of understanding of what people in Chicago want.

It’s not fun when Jacque has Sammy’s arm when he’s not hitting like Sammy did, you know? There’s no way he can make it three years.

It’d be nice if Maddux could put a stop to this, but I’m not holding out hope.

At least we got a run this time? This is unreal.

It’s really too bad Piazza isn’t in our division. If we’re not going to score runs, stealing a lot of bases seems fun. At least Barrett threw someone out today.

Two days in a row, they’ve saved Dempster for a save situation which hasn’t come, and extended others longer than usual to make up for it. They’ll almost have to use Dempster today to keep him from being rusty; hope it’s worth it.

I don’t have much to say. I could repost my quasi-sucidial text message I sent out 15 seconds after the home run, but we’ll save those sort of things in case of another loss.
