It’s mid 60s, and I’m sitting on a porch, looking at moon lit pond. Spring is cool.

Sean Marshall moves to only 319 behind the staff career lead for wins!

I can’t prove this and it seems like the worst case of second guessing, but I wouldn’t have pulled Marshall that soon. He had only given up three runs to that point, and I wouldn’t want to hurry to the bullpen with a 5 run lead, two questionable starters in the next two days and no true long man in the bullpen. Maybe they saw something I didn’t.

I’m sure Dusty wishes he could have that decision back; everyone does. Michael wishes he could have that pitch back, and his 2005 success level while you’re at it. Thankfully, the Pirates had even less to offer out of the bullpen and it never really mattered. The announcers kept pushing that the Pirates were overworked, but with the names they’re throwing out there, I think they might just be bad.

It’s not going to happen, but Craig Wilson in a RF for the Cubs would be a nice fit.

Williamson was great. Walker was great. Murton can oddly hit to a spot. This team really looks super when they, which I suppose is the idea.

Watching this game, the Bulls vs the Wiz, and scanning the scoreboards for the other NBA games of interest made it a bit busy. (Good thing I got the luchawiki site move done quickly and with no real drama.) I had the MLB gamecast going – it’d be nice if there was an easy way to always allow that pop up and not the ad pop ups the MLB.com sites – and they were really lagging. Something must’ve been off with the stats feed from the ballpark, because when I was trying to grab the box score to do this a half hour after the game, MLB/Yahoo/wherever thought the game was still in the top of the 9th – and still is, huh.
