This week sucks for free time for nutty web related activites all the sudden, (so if I have a sparsely filled out award thing, winners may be announced, say, live at the ELL-MEX show for anyone there who cares.) So that’s why I’m working on this at 1 am and will do a CMLLBlog when I’m really really tired.
Went the Bulls game. Bulls rule. So weird. NOCH. (rhymes with COACH).
I don’t know what your problem is, Scott, but the Blackhawks suck. No sane person should be rooting for them, unless their kid is on the team.
Edit:
I can’t explain this, but I need to get this idea out of my head or I won’t get back to sleep.
Instead of the pointless Night Of Champions, SD! totally should’ve done a Night Of Heavyweights and Cruiserweights Teaming TOgether to mix things up. 8 matches, 4 winning teams voted on by the fans for their favs, winning team gets their matches whenever.
Heavyweights get to choose their cruiserweight partners, which plays into things. Random order.
the point would be to have people who don’t normally interact to interact, and see if there’s any magic to be found. It’d be nice to use this as more attention to the guys who aren’t getting attention, but all I’d really be hoping for is maybe one pair to be used again down the road.
MATCHES
John Cena/Paul London (team Gameboys) vs Rene Dupree/Billy Kidman
(Cena and London have common interests! Rene and Billy can share fashion tips. London gets his big revenge win on major TV: Cena FU followed by a Firebird.)
JBL/Rey Mysterio vs RVD/Akio
(JBL gets an early pick and takes Rey just to screw over RVD and kiss up to the fans. In a shocking move, RVD picks fellow karate fighter Akio. Match probably should go last, and go horribly awry when Akio $ells Out!, having been bought off during the match by the Cabinet, and turns on RVD. Rey gets beat up after while trying to save.)
Eddie Guerrero/Chavo Guerrero vs Luther Reigns/Shannon Moore
(Resolution to the Guerrero breakup! Shannon Is A Face This Week, and doesn’t really get along with non-Team Angle, leading to Luther harshly blaming Shannon for the loss. In the process, someone calls Luther’s finisher ‘Reignfall’.)
Spike/Heidenreich vs the Big Show/Funaki
(Big Show loves the goofs! Spike is The Boss and Heidenreich listens to him because he’s The Boss! Lots of announcer nuttiness about how great Show/Heidenreich might be, but Funaki gets the sunset flip here he got anyway.)
Cena/London win fan support – London vs Kidman One Last Time, Cena open challenge for the US Title (Kenzo)
JBL/Rey win fan support – uh, no.
Eddie/Chavo win – Chavo vs Kidman One Last Time, Eddie/Booker vs RVD/Rey for tag titles
Big Show/Funaki win – Show vs JBL for the WWE Title (mass run ins to build to the RR triple threat), Funaki open challenge for the CW Title (Spike)
Neat? I dunno.
