I assume that writing in the World Series box is Japanese for “HOLY FUCKING SHIT I CAN’T BELIEVE THEY ACTUALLY WON THE FUCKING WORLD SERIES”, yes?
You know what this means, don’t you?
They’ll completely choke next year.
In the World Series.
Against the Cubs.
I’m putting in my predictions now. Mark my words.
All it says is “World Series.”
Though I was unaware that the kanji for ‘division’ is also the same one they use to differentiate between the different sections/districts of Tokyo and other large cities.
I wish baseball had the American Prefecture and the National Perfecture.

That’s actually what a lot of people here in the region are saying, in our mangled English.
I doubt anyone else can read this, but the best pitcher the Cubs can send to Japan is LaTroy Hawkins?
This will probably be Moises Alou’s last game in a Cub uniform, too. Sad.
It’s not as much the best players, as it is the best players willing to go who haven’t blown out various body parts, I think. Like the NFL Pro Bowl except people are even less willing to go to Japan as they are to go to Hawaii.
