- Heat was best ever in it’s Heat storyline remembering. Stevie and Victoria take care of months of holes and hints in one two minute conversation. Maybe Steven wanted to save it for Heat because he knows Stevie & Victoria mean ratings. And MAVEN saves NIDIA. I’m so looking forward to the mixed tag, if only to find out if Nidia is a better wrestler than Jackie Gayda and Tyson Tomko. Judging from the match, she’s got a good shot at that.
- No more PPV Heats for some time (5 weeks). How awesome is that? You (and by that, I mean many people) made the “it’s yet another PPV Heat! haha no” joke a week too early.
- Velocity had good matches and stuff. Sakoda’s best singles match, though I overthink and figure “loss to Funaki = goodbye”. Rene/Nunzio was better than I thought it’d be, and the Bashams and Holly and Gunn work well together. I’ve decided GHB is all Bill’s idea, and they just shrug and let him do it because he’s incredibly annoying while insane.
- Joe continued our stalking of the RAW House Show circuit and got something okay for a pre-PPV b show.
- Impact actually used it’s wacky draw stipulation. And helpfully previewed upcoming IWA-MS main events.
I’m distracted by all this run scoring and I’m one more Sosa extra base hit away from calling someone to taunt, so more later. I guess I’ll have to do something with the time I’ve got from actually doing the weekend stuff in decent time.
