I haven’t watched either exclamation mark show yet. Enrique Llanes, mentioned on SmackDown!, does exist, though La Arena doesn’t have a bio and uses Tirabuzon and Suastica as known names. Mexico does have about twelve different abdominal stretch variants, though, so Chavo’s surely right and I’m just not smartened up.

I don’t think anyone has to worry about draws on Impact if they haven’t made it to the seven minute mark yet. It sure seems like a total waste to fly Dusty in just to announce something Russo or Tenay could’ve done but hey not my money.

I must be slow, but I just realized that three matches last week all went 6:19. That’s weird.

Have I told everyone I know yet that the new SportsCenter set sucks? Light is good. The inside of a sub is not.

Whatta shock.

The great bit here, planned* or not, is it’s possible to spin the ROH/RF as “It was all Gentry’s idea and we’re purging him too and we knew nothing so we totally weren’t BSing. We’re the GOOD GUYS and we ran the bad guys out so you can still give us your money and support our shows without having ethical issues!”

* – well duh planned. Scummy scummy business.

Does this turn TNA tecnico? To save face, how long does it take for ROH to make the call to the Jarrets to bring back A.J. Styles and the others? Less than the time it took to write that sentence? If Gabe did know as alleged, is any agreement about Rob being gone “for real/we sure ain’t lying this time!” worth the paper it’s written on?

(Assuming the original business plan worked) How does this situation affect ROH’s survival? The plan was to survive on tape sales, but did that include the rest of RFVideo’s tapes? There’s no way one didn’t help supplant the other, and seperating them is gonna hurt at least one. (Know from past experience)

How many of those people who said “I’ll never work for the company if Rob’s involed!” will say “Well, Rob’s not involved now so it’s okay”? All? okay.

I doubt ROH’s gonna be in any trouble from fans, because you’d think they would’ve been in trouble previously if they were going to be ever. It’s more or less entertaining buffonery where no one got hurt, I hope, but I do give them credit for making the buffonery entertaining.

Super J 06/11

They ended up not needing tie breakers in group A (though I would’ve prefered a tie breaker match) and it was an easy tie breaker in group B! Almost like they book this thing. A. Dragon---

Tough, very tough. Process of elimination

  • As champion, Heat’s here to get beat by someone to set up the next challenger
  • I’m oddly convinced Kakihara is only here because of the past and not any plans for the future, so cancel him out.
  • I’d mark out if Danielson won but it’s at least a year too soon for that.
  • Liger’s won a bunch of these and has the GHC title, so why book him as winner?
  • With the cutbacks, I’d be surprised if Ultimo stuck around as a full timer after this show. And he also doesn’t need this win to build credibility for a title shot

So that leaves Tiger Mask. Fine enough.

New UCF Entertainment Academy Will Train Students to Develop Game Software

Hmmm.

University of Central Florida students will learn how to design, program and test video games at a new academy that the university is starting with help from Electronic Arts, the world’s leading interactive entertainment publisher.

!

Electronic Arts’ Tiburon studio, based in Maitland, plans to expand in Florida over the coming years.

Electronic Arts, which develops top sports games such as Madden NFL Football and NASCAR auto racing, will help create the curriculum for the new academy and will offer internships for UCF students and faculty.

Students, who are required to have undergraduate degrees in fields such as computer science, art or digital media before enrolling, can complete the program in about 16 months.

Admissions officials will look for students who are self-motivated and who have strong portfolios in computer modeling, art or other relevant subjects, Moshell said.
